mayowagabriel:Must there be war if a set of people decide to break away.many advanced countries in Europe did that without war.lets change our mentality. This guy's were calling for referendum. They were protesting without weapons which is part of their right. Before u quote me,am a yoruba man. |

Funny country, no one is even emphasizing on the importance of the barbaric north to accept restructuring to make everyone equal stakeholder as the only panacea to a peaceful coexistence yet the they want us to recant on Biafra & accept Nigeria. God forbid, we must restructure now or Biafra becomes inevitable!! |

dlondonbadboy:Igbos are not ready. Nigeria has a standing army. One of the best in the world. How many Igbos are in the ranks and files of the Nigerian Army? Let not start what we can not finish. We make ourselves foreigners in our own land (Nigeria) by our dispositions and actions, hence our deprivation and marginalisation. I know, we can all work together to change this mindset my friend. We can all become better and change the status quo. Loyalty begets loyalty. We are grossly deficient in this aspect towards Nigeria. You don't openly declare disloyalty to your father's land and still expect to be given a pat on your shoulder for your open betrayal or pampered for your lack of allegiance. Who does that? I would rather agitate for true federalism than agitate for Biafra that is a mirage. Long live Nigeria Peace |

dlondonbadboy:From your monika you are not in Nigeria, at least you would wish to be in London if you had the chance, here you are advocating for war. Secondly, who are "God's children"? Who are you in the scheme of things to decide who "God's children"are? Your entire write up appear selfish and superficial. |

I Don't Even Understand These Guys. How's Asking For Self Determination Akin To Calling For War? |

i beg to defer on these referendum on forming a nation especially the Naija ways of doing things. No country on earth have broken up peacefully without war or as results of war. I do not know which history some people have read. This is just the reality |

Jflex07:So....are enjoying the tribal war n the hatred? We may not be actually united, but we can be tolerant. I am Igbo I grew up in the north, I have few close friends, maybe 5 max, among dem are two Yoruba guys that always got my back even when I pretend to be fine, they know I am in need and go extra miles to help I also reciprocate these gestures... I can hardly tell d difference between dem n d oda 3igbo guys, dis is because I see dem as humans first before considering tribe, I believe that is what education should have achieved in our thinking.. Again, remember the sad truth is that even among we the Igbos, its not like we enjoy so much love..... while that sharia riot happened in 2000, we ran home to d east, had to take public transport cus it was not easy getting our cars out of our street due to fire, on our way back home, d last bus to our hometown used to be a #50 fare, but they charged us #400 and above, we asked why? And they said "you have been in d north and u claim u went there to make money, now is d tym to show the money"... Dat is just an example, d fact is, there is no love in d world today, but we Africans are having it more difficult because of the much sentiments we attach to tribe and religion, d case is worse in Nigeria because of our greatly diverse ethnicity.... For example, arewa youths asked igbos to leave Kaduna, but southern Kaduna people have dissociated themselves from the ultimatum and God forbid, if there is a massacre between igbos and Hausas in Kaduna, it is also by extension Muslims vs christian northerners..... We should learn to be tolerant, it might cost you being peaceful, but will surely cost more going in for war... And I didn't mean to insult u earlier bro. Thanks |

| Re: IPOB Should Stop, Igbos Are Not Ready For Another Civil War- Okorocha by nothernstar: 6:34pm On Jun 13, 2017 |
I don't think Igbos are asking for war. There is never a time war solves problem. What we are asking for is equality, equity and fairness. Remove quota system. Give us equal state like others. The failure of these are the outcome of the agitation. We need fg presence in the east build roads, rails, international airports etc like the way it's in other regions. You are blaming the Igbos for living their home for other region, treat them equally and see if they won't stay in their region. If I'm lying ask Mr Joe igbokwe why he left his home tome for a greener pasture in the west ask barrister Obane Onyekachi why he is not practicing in his region. Yet they don't want them to talk about Biafra. why? For now Biafra is an ideology. It flows in the vain of every igbo man. Yes we may not have been doing it the right way but we are being heard cos there seem to be conspiracy hence the masses took it their own way. Till the wrongs are righted the agitation won't stop. |

Rochas you are not speaking on our behalf(Biafrans). Because you are using Imo (Biafra region) resources to owned properties in the north doesn't mean that you are speaking for us. If the north don't stand by their quit notice ultimatum, then the north are cowards and stupidest ever. |
| Re: IPOB Should Stop, Igbos Are Not Ready For Another Civil War- Okorocha by okeyfrank: 7:01pm On Jun 13, 2017 |
The madness of the likes of Okorocha is that they think that the call for Biafra is a call for war. They try to threaten people with war even in this 21st Century. Biafra will sure come to pass but never through war. Those who are thinking war as simply scared of losing the Igbos. Besides, who says that Igbos cannot go to other countries with visa if they were granted such. Truth is that the more the foolish likes of Okorocha talk about war, the more they expose their empty mind over what seeking self government in this modern world is. Rochas Okorocha should go and bury his face in shame for all the corrupt atrocities he has committed against the good people of Imo State. |
