The baby weight is okay. As for sex, depends on the machine resolution, the sonographer skills/willingness to look for it in early pregnancy. Saw my baby sex at 13 weeks plus and reconfirmed it 2 weeks later. This was only cos it was I and my husband who scanned....lol. I generally don't stress myself for others before 20 weeks except I am interested/know the person. So best to go in 6 weeks time so the sonographer has no excuse as at then.

Well for me, i didnt have morning sickness per se, but my tongue was just not right. After i tried all sorts i just bought brush and toothpaste jeje and carried around with me.

Any toilet break, i use as an opportunity to brush my tongue.

It offered a bit of a relief. You can try that.

Yes chicco lotion - bath foam- massage oil and bar soap. I use the bath foam for his head and face wash cos it's soap free and wont stink the eyes! the bar soap for his body it contains soap.

I don't use chicco anymore though he only used them for his first year now we are on dudu Osun and palm karnel oil! Skin rash and economy made us switch, though it has made his complexion darker it's a price I'm glad to pay for a skin free of rashes that alwyas cause him discomfort.

Esp after eating I feel there's still something stuck in my throat and no matter the amount of water I drink it remains the same. Its uncomfortable and I've been taking liquid milk too. Antenatal is weeks away. Did anyone experience this and what remedy?

Yes its very uncomfortable, for me its more intense after taking oily food....surprisingly, it stopped on it own after disturbing for about a month. All will be well epele

Sis, that lump in the throat own is so annoying! But for the heartburn, I just take lot of water and avoid oily food. God is our strength!!

Hmm we are in the same boat. It is the most uncomfortable feeling ever hmm. I take calcium carbonate tablets and they really help; the strength of one tablet is 1000mg and I am allowed to take a maximum of 5 a day (The brand I take is Tums); donno where you are located but if your local pharmacy does not have it please ask them for an antacid that is safe in pregnancy. Other preggy mamas I know who do not want to take medication take milk like you or yoghurt. Pele dear; it is well. xx

Heartburn has shown me pepper. I get so scared of eating dinner and even when hunger pangs wakes me up in the middle of the night, fear of triggering it no go let me eat or snack cos when heartburn starts I sit up sometimes till 3am before I get relieved enough to sleep, all antacids given by my doc don't work, some swore by Gaviscon but it didn't do aything for me. With my first child, a cold glass of dissolved powdered milk will usually do the magic but this time, that ain't working either.
Luckily, a family friend adviced a Iick the powered milk rather than drink it. Didn't make sense since it's same milk na whether dissolved or powered but I tried it and viola! Solution found. Heartburn doesn't hold me to ransomed anymore, I eat without fear now.
So dear, Try it, you might feel relived. I hope it works for you.

Hello please help a FTM. I gave birth on Sunday and I discovered on Monday or so that my baby has some blood stains on his eye balls . I went to the hospital yesterday and the doc said it's normal but please am worried, what can I do to clear the blood stain off. Also, I discovered also that his eyeballs are also a bit yellow jaundice kinda yellow and likewise, the doc said I shouldn't worry that the jaundice isn't too much and that it will clear off naturally but please, what can I do to clear it off again.thanks

madam worry not,had same issues with my babe,it cleared off on its own...just keep applying breas.tmilk into his eyes as many times as you can.just a drop or two of breas.tmilk.

True oh, the other day I saw my uncle's face as a meme on nl. Sent it to some of my siblings and we had a good laugh cuz it was really funny. But I wonder how they get these ideas and pictures, that's the easiest way to turn a serious human being into a joke.

It will clear... Zizi own was like dat and he had newborn jaundice too, wasnt serious but everuthing cleared up before we marked 2weeks...

I think it is safe to travel at 36 weeks if there are no health complications. But most airline will require a doctor's report and some other document.

Get safe for flight note from a doctor! If you are more than 36 weeks pregnant, many airlines will not let you fly due to the increased risk of delivering on board.

For the blood stains, the doctor prescribed multivitamin for my baby and in 3days it cleared completely. As for the kinda yellow eyes, The doctor should have tested his bilirubin level. Anyways, take him out under early morning sun and press breastmilk into his eyes. The breastmilk should be before you have your breakfast in the morning.
