3-4 weeks? Bros, that's too long for a simple update comparison na.This can be done within a week, even 2 days. I believe you should know where your phone is found wanting and compare once you update.

I have done countless number of updates right from lollipop, so I know exactly what I'm saying.

A simple update as you claim, may be released to improve battery performance, but will end up weakening your wifi/network signal.

If improved stability and battery life is what you are after, give your phone a month to settle down.

Ok, copy the rom you just downloaded and paste it in the Internal memory of your phone in a folder named 'downloaded_rom ', you might need to create this folder yourself if it's not there already. Next go to your updated app, then click the 3 dots on the top right of your screen, choose update package, then select the folder 'downloaded_rom', select the rom, and the flashing starts off. It might take up to 15 mins to complete.

the last two are actually the same, bar Some added LTE bands.

All are actually better than most of other phones in the same price bracket.

It wouldn't take you a whole month to check out an update if you use your phone every other day. Be it signal, battery life or temperature, these can be ascertained within a short period. I once used an elephone P6000 and ported MIUI 6 Rom cos the elephone rom was bland, it took me just a few hours of handling to know that it was a big hit on the battery. T'was that swift cos i was on the last lap of MC4 and Fifa 14. A whole month is a no no to me, too long. From signal strength to battery life, it's bn awesome for 3 days so far.
