luv d question, it will amaze them on d low percentage of yoruba owners

The next thread should be on the most industrialized ethnic groups. You will see how far they lag behind the Hausa Fulani who are a distant second to Igbo.

There's big historical differences btw the West and the East.

The West was urbanized way before the British came but the east was not urbanized.

However, there are mud houses in the east. That's the bone of contention. grin

What a question! The Enugu NB brewery is the youngest brewery built by Nigeria Breweries. It was commissioner in 2003 and cost 220million dollars. It is the largest in Africa. In case you think South Africa has a bigger brewery. Not so.

Well, having worked and still working with industries in Nigeria, Ogun State currently has more industries than Lagos. Lagos comes second. This development is due to the tax system operational in Lagos at the moment. Several industries had to leave.. I won't mention some of these companies please. Ogun State is beginning to go the way of Lagos too and so, several industries are now being sited in Oyo State. Oyo State seem to be another desirable investment destination in Nigeria today. Osun State has industries too, particularly steel industries because of the availability of relatively constant power supply. Rivers should come between Lagos and Oyo given Ogun in number one.

I agree with the position of those south Eastern states, Anambra and Abia in particular. Enugu is more of a civil servant state. Kano and Kaduna have a lot of light industries but few heavy industries.

Please note that Industrialization is different from Commercialization and Urbanization. If any of the latter two are to be considered, the order above would b far different.

I cannot but agree with the fact that you are myopic.
You are s
citing the Nigerian Brewery plc that's headquartered in Iganmu -Lagos with many branches in Ibadan, Enugu, Kaduna etc.
It's clear you don't know Lagos (or you are sango-Abule egba based and restricted) you cannot also pass through Ibadan without seeing the expansive Nigeria brewery.
I don't want to belong to any of the sides, but it's good to argue with facts.

NB may be headquartered in Lagos or have branch breweries in other cities, but their greenfield plant at Ama Enugu is their most modern and largest in Africa. Built in 2003 at 220 millions Dollars.

Roughly 4 million people live in or around PH metropolitan area and more people are tropping in everyday in their hundreds to make a living. If PH were that unsafe, people would run away from it. I was born in PH and lived there until I was 23 and I've Never gotten mugged or even seen a home robbery once with mine eye. It f**king depends where you're staying and your movement pattern. Lots of people are killed, kidnapped and robbed in Lagos more than in every other city in Nigeria. Because you hear of more blog stories from their doesn't mean it's hell.

And if you've not been to a place don't attempt to draw a conclusive opinion on that place. From your comment, one would be forgiven to think you've never crossed Ore before. Nigeria is BIG and broader than your horizon.

Thank God say dem don capture your Anambra kidnapper brother, Evans, who had to come all the way to SW to kidnap his own brothers. Una traders for SE no fit make the kind money they make in our region for una region so our region had to accommodate them to make it in life, only for Evans to trail them down to our region and kidnap them. God will punish and expose all of you people committing crimes in our land in the guise of 'development'.
