Good Morning Fellow Nairalanders, I hope you had a great Weekend?. Meanwhile, I felt we shouldn't be up this Morning with Monday blues all over, so I decided we had some fun by sharing our experiences with each other.
I would like to ask, what was you most embarrassing Moment in your Secondary School life

Mine happened Years ago, There's a day we usually call Judgement Day in our School, where the Proprietor would be present during the assembly and assess each students Class by Class based on the number of Red pen they have on their Mid Term Report Sheets , When a Red pen is used in writing a grade, it could amount to 5 or 6 strokes of the Cane, then think of when you have like four to five....
And there was this Newly employed, Ugly Man in our School,called Mr. Oshodi, his job is beat Students, nothing more. So on this So called Judgement day, I happened to have 2 grades written in RED! Damn it! So the day before,I had thought of what to do because I knew for sure that I'll be beaten, and I hate being beaten, I really hate Cane... Especially Horse whips.. So I decided to wear a short, thick Jean, before wearing my School Uniform.
On the D-day, my class was was the next to be dealt with, although we had few who did well, so when it was my turn, I was called upon,I sheepishly mounted the podium, and the saw that I had 2 grades written in Red, so I would be receiving 12 latches. I had already worn the Jean I planned to wear. So I lied down, waiting to be beaten, on receiving the first stroke of the Cane, It really didn't enter, but I felt something hit me, the second one came, same thing happened, but the Jean was so thick that it did make a sound whenever it was hit, so it made Mr. Oshodi become suspicious that something was fishy, so he felt my trouser, and knew it that it was different from wearing a boxer or pants, Omo come see as I dey shake, He told the Proprietor and he said I should go into one of the empty classes to remove what I wore to dust the strokes of the Cane. Shamefully, I removed it, Lo and behold, it was shown to everyone on the Assembly what I wore, it was as thick as Dried Cow Skin... The whole Assembly exclaimed as I bowed my head in shame. Afterwards, I was given the beating of my life... I was seriously beaten that I could hardly walk. After I was dealt with, I pitifully walked back to the class where I removed the Jean And had to wait till everyone was dismissed form the Assembly. On getting back to my Class, some made fun out of it, some sympathized with me as I wept more bitterly, I was Seriously embarrassed on this so called Day...

The day I walked barefoot back to hostel after night prep. Someone stole my new sandals because I slept. Everyone denied it.

I was the Health Prefect of Luther Kings College in 2000 ,According to the JSS students I was strict but very nice to SS Students because they always act mature.

One afternoon I went to JSS which happen to be the most stubborn set of students just to check their uniform and sandals ..on getting there I see 70% of them wearing slippers which contradict the student mode of dress then I called all their class monitors to seize one leg of each of those slippers and they should bail it with #10 each because I needed money.

I expected them to bail their slippers but these idio.ts refuse to bail o instead they were protesting,then I sent all of them out tell them to lied down and face the sun they were their for 2mins before I release them. The teachers in staff room didn't say anything to stop my act o.

Like an hour after then I was in my class already when one of my mates (girl) starts quarrelling with me and I slapped her then she went to report me in the staff room and I was called to come and defend myself. After the defense I was guilty and I have to serve punishment ..u know the punishment?

I should go and lie down in front of Jss 3 block and face the sun for 30mins. Omo emi God forbid I run out of out of school and never come back that day.

But I was forced to serve it the following day or I seize to be a prefect!!!!!

The humiliation from the junior students was unbearable that day.

The Internet just hit Nigeria, and I had mad love for it. I would save up my TP, feeding, allowance, just anything to go to the cafe and browse. Checked my yahoo mail everyday. Visit yahoo chat rooms, my favorite chatroom was Aliyah chatroom. Other times I visit indecency sites (BBS, those who know the meaning of the abbreviation).

My school uniform was white shirt and blue short. As a "guy man", I had a Tommy Hilfiger shoe (white, blue n red are the colors of Tommy Hilfiger) to match with my uniform. I had a silver chain belt (very pricey, was a gift), but my school doesn't allow those stuffs, plus my parents won't allow me leave the house in those. So I put them in my bag and wear proper black leather sandal and belt, when am in the taxi, I change, then when am the school gate I change again.

Unknown to me, some bad boys have been eyeing my shoe and belt.

Am expected to be home 30mins after school hours, so the only time I have to browse is to either sneak out of school during free period or break period. On this particular day, I sneaked out during break to use the close by cafe when this boys called me, asked me to open my bag and took my Tommy shoe and chain belt.

As tho that wasn't enough, they also took my main school shoes, belt and transport, then said to me "we want your parents to ask you what happened to ur shoes and u tell them how u have been sneaking out of school"

That was how I trekked home barefoot, under the scotching sun, looking like a homeless child. To make matters worst I was supposed to catch up with my crush at her school. I saw her waiting for me at the estate gate, it was as if the ground should open and swallow me.

Later found out it was my fellow SS2 student that set me up, I had to define what scaler and vector quantities are (to prove we are in same class, different arm) for the guy before he gave me my original school stuffs.

Do you still remember those awkward days in schools during Exams?

1. When a bright student tells the invigilator that question 4 has a problem, but you have already answered it..... *aahhhh*

2. When a fellow student asks for a graph paper, but you are finished and did not see anywhere where it was required... *Hmmmm*

3. When the invigilator says jump question 6 we will rectify it later, but it was the question you enjoyed most when answering... *Achaaaaa*

4. When you see people busy using rulers and you are wondering what is going on... *Oooh*

5. When you hear your friends arguing after the exam whether the answer to question 5 was 35.5% or 36% and your answer was -45000 .. *wuwiiiiii*

Some girls may look malnourish but the bones in their body pass elephant own...oh Shola!!!! *wipe tears* I thought i could beat this slender girl called shola in my class but after all my bragging, it was from that day i learnt a good lesson that Overconfidence can be dangerous at times. ***wipe tears again***

i called her julius berger cos she beg too much and she slapped me,wanted to return the slap one useless senior held me. i was still arguing with the senior why he stop me. the mofos gave me another slap,i started crying.

Let the lies begin.....

the day I wanted to form jet li by doing highjump instead I fell down face flat in front of d whole school including my crush everyone was like ye!!!! " chapel prefect fall for grand con chop sand

Was stooling, managed to take it to school, as I was been flogged for coming late, I didn't know how it happened.

Had to walk back home with flies coming after me.

Lolz... So their was this girl i was crushing on.. The whole class got to know about her through some parrot frds of mine.. I never entered her class because of shyness but i know literarily everything she does because i had spys' in her class... On a faithful monday, a frd dared me or vice versa and she threatened to call this girl for me... I wan form big boy na, i dared her back.. Anyways, she called the girl and she came to my class, straight up to where i was sitting dat someone said i wanted to see her when school closes... I nearly died... After closing na, i stayed up(in class) for more than 30mins, so she can go her way... Baba, when i come outside, this girl was still waiting for me... God, it took several courage and taunts from my frds b4 i could make that step.. As soon as i got to her, she was like, Why do u want to see me... I became deaf and dumb again... i was just looking for a way out...

Dat day no funny at all...
