Sex is the common way to get it,you didn't get untested blood transfusion, getting it through clippers is minimal, so how then did you get it
The person with the virus says how he got it is irrelevant to him, you're still asking questions. Stop it!

I totally understand you bro. I studied applied microbiology and had the opportunity of doing my 4 months Industrial Training attachement at a Federal Medical Centre. Was rotated around the various units in the Med Lab Dept. Serology unit handled RVS tests and we had them in droves everyday. One day one man came in for tests. Extremely thin, pale and sickly. You'd think he had acute Hepatitis B infection and wasn't gonna last the next week. I was to draw his blood for Retroviral screening.

Long story short, I pricked myself when I attempted to cap the needle after drawing his blood. I can still feel the hot flush, the shock, the sting, the rush of blood from my head anytime I recall that moment. Four other staff were in the room with me, but I didn't let them know what had happened. I squeezed out as much blood as I could from the finger and swabbed with Jik bleach. Couldn't continue working that day. Made up an excuse and left later on. Got home and couldn't think of anything else. I was devastated to say the least. Did I also add that the patient's result came out positive? Everyone already knew that was going to be the outcome.

I lost appetite and withdrew completely. Stopped talking to my siblings and parents. My mom noticed this and had to sit me down two days later to query my sudden change of attitude. I just laid it out bare to her. She expressed shock, asked why I had kept quiet all the while and said we were going to another FMC that specialised in HIV management immediately. We went there the next day where they did my screening (came out negative) and put me on Post-exposure prophylaxis regimen for 30 days. To this day, nobody, not even my late dad, siblings, nobody except my mom is aware of this incident.

Now the reason I'm spilling all these here, is to let you know that miracles happen. This incident occurred Sept 10, 2004. Yup. 13 years ago. I'm currently married with a pretty wife and daughter, and another baby about to land very soon. I have been negative ever since. My family members are all negative and the babies were all conceived naturally without any special arrangement. Just God's Divine Grace. I must confess that i was MEGA apprehensive when we went for screening prior to our wedding. Was sweating bullets when the nurses called us in to hand us our results. Of course it was negative. My life has been a miracle bro. I once in a while go on Facebook to just type those words "My being alive today is still a miracle" and people do not understand what I mean.

I was a virgin when that needlestick occurred, so I believe you when you say you did not get infected sexually.

I don't have much words to give you bro. You know better. All I can say is take your medications religiously, stay positive!

You definitely have a testimony to share.
Silly mistake, you could have informed a very senior staff immediately and be placed on PEP. I had my heart in my mouth reading this. Well, 2004, knowledge abt d virus was minimal then, so I can understand why you kept it a secret, bless your mum.
No offence pls, just shocked that you kept it a secret.
PEP works when you start within 72hrs of exposure

Your kit won't pick up a recent infection until 6 weeks since it's rapid test (anti-body). It is important to let people know so they don't go about deceiving themselves and spreading the virus.

This is my first time of posting on this forum and I pray this get to as many people as possible.
Most folks dread the thought of testing positive to HIV but it shouldn't be so. That is why it is very necessary to get tested at least once in a month.
I developed the habit of getting tested monthly (though I can beat my chest and say with pride that I am not a promiscuous fellow). But recently I skipped a couple of months in my routine for no apparent reason. The last time I got a test was mid-march so I went for a test last week and the test result came out positive. To be certain it wasn't a mistake, I went to two other places and the results were adamantly positive.
Now some people may ask who who got me infected, but that is a none-issue as far as I'm concerned . I have even stopped asking myself how I got infected because it's been more than two years since the last time I had sexual intercourse . So it can't possibly have been sexually transmitted to me, most especially as the experts say the viral load is low which means I must have been recently infected, at most not more than five or six months.
I intend to utilize my status as an HIV+ person to reach out and help as many as I can. I am already posting on Facebook what I learn from counseling programs I attend on living with the virus.
The Doctors said they have to monitor my viral load and CD4 count for some time in order to determine the best treatment program for me. I know that if I stick to the treatment program and follow the Doctors advice diligently that I'll still live a healthy life.
I use this medium to beg of everyone reading this to go for an HIV test. Knowing your status is key to helping yourself. If you are negative, please maintain all necessary prevention techniques.... avoid unprotected sex/multiple partners , don't share needles/blades (if you can afford it, get your own hair clipper) but above all, get tested regularly.
If you find out that you are positive (like me) , please don't despair. There are several HIV/AIDS centres in most hospitals across the nation where you can access help in the form of counseling and medications and these are mostly free of charge.
HIV is not a death sentence, you can still live a meaningful and healthy life despite your status.
Spread the message and not the virus.

Ever heard of Colloidal Silver? Just Google it using the phrase "Colloidal Silver and HIV" and see the results for yourself. I have been using this to treat HIV and even full blown AIDS patients for almost 2 years and they have had course to give testimonies. Those ARVs is actually what even kills HIV+ patients due to it's high toxicity.

Yes i have heard of colloidal silver and its efficiency in curing HIV and other diseases, but i know its hardly accessible. my worry is, if the drug really cures the virus why is it still unknown to many living with this virus causing the deaths of thousands of people yearly.

That is because the companies that produce Anti-Retrovirals and even the WHO are trying everything possible to hide this truth from the world. The pharma companies that produce these ARVs are like a cartel and they benefit from the billions of $$$ that the government of the countries where HIV/AIDS is worst hit. eg: Sub Saharan Africa and South Africa. Colloidal Silver has been banned from being sold commercially in pharmacies in the US today as i type this. This is the reason why it is very scarce (if available) because they know that if people get to know about the healing miracle properties of CS, no one will take ARVs anymore.

It's just like DSTv today...they make more money when people subscribe monthly to their TV services rather than allowing you to just buy the Dish and decoder and pay outrightly. That is likened to these ARV companies...taking ARVs to "slow down" the process and mutation of the HIV virus is like a subscription to them which gives them megabucks.

Collodal Silver is a long thing. Hiv now has permanent cure in Europe. For those that can afford to fly down there to be treated, it is better, if not you can still get it. I know at least 2 Nigerians that have been cured with the medicine. I would have given u the link here but, senseless yahoo boy scammers would swam the site. PM me if intrested in the link. They are already complaining that those useless Nigerians are impersonating them. Putting the link here on NL would do more damage than good. You must repost and confirm here that Hiv now has cure after getting the link and seeing the real testimonies by the whites. Also, expose me here if I don't give u after you pm me.

Oga, no one is going to PM you! Post the link HERE or forgerrit! For those who want to PM this guy for a "LINK", remember that the "RANSOMWARE virus" is mainly hidden in links. You click a link and immediately, your files in your pc gets locked and encrypted and you can never open them until you pay the hackers via bitcoins.

Back to topic, I have witnessed the wonders of colloidal silver where it really cured a child whose parents died of AIDS. i saw one in a pharmacy here in Abuja but mehnnnn, it was damn to expensive! about N32,000 for one small bottle. undecided

My brother, people that have gotten their destiny and lives eternally destroyed are always looking forward to get others to be like them. Yes, satanists invented hiv and they know that hiv has a cure but they'll rather continue milking the innocent through ARVs. satanists = illuminatis= big phama. No phamaceutical drug cures, they only treats so that u come back with more money. They always kill people that come out with HIV permanent Cure. The latest of their victim is Dr Sebi, google big Phama and Dr Sebi's assasination. Of a Truth, JESUS is coming back very very Soon. satan is so much in a hurry to get as many souls to hell as possible that he has deceived many souls with promise of fame and mamon. Such souls are in charge of this world now, but their time is seriously about to end. You don't need to sell your soul to them for a solutuon to a problem that they created, watch:

Didn't trust the staff on confidentiality and discretion because I'd seen the kind of discussions they'd had about patients. After telling my mother, I commenced PEP. Within 72 hours of the needlestick. Depression and disappointment with myself made me hold it in those first 2 days. I was 18+.
