True. No point in booking a hotel. Keep things the same as before and be sure to explain situation properly and clearly to the VO.

Booking a hotel just raises all manner of additional questions instead of having the VO focus on getting her to explain herself a bit ore on her previous denial

That may be the case.

But when you applied initially, did you use his address? Because if you did, that would be begging the question of that 'exposure to adult lifestyles' at the time.

Do I retrieve the form to remove the hotel address? I actually filled the column where they asked for relatives in the US with my 2 brothers' names and their addresses. Will my info still be on their database?

Yes, your info will remain on their database, like forever. Consistency is key. Reasonable changes can be explained reasonably.
The other questions pass me; the gurus will assist.

Hubby couldn't get his leave approved the same time with mine( medical profession) I am also employed ( total monthly income 245k), 7yrs experience. I intend taking my last child almost 2yrs to stay with my sister while I'm away. I have 2 elder bros who are US citizens (born there). One of them hasn't been home for 10years, I booked a hotel in the same state where they live ( contact address). My primary purpose of traveling is for vacation and as well see my brother whom I haven't seen in a while. I have traveled to the UK, Dubai and I hot an expired German Visa I didn't use 6yrs ago. In my DS form I filled my child as the only Dependant, have submitted and got an interview appointment. Now, my mum (retired) showed interest in visiting the US to see my brother, we have paid and filled the form for her and she's likely to have a different interview date with us. My question is, should we have applied together that is included her as one of my Dependants? More so, my brother filed for citizenship on her behalf some 13yrs ago which she asked him to stop that she wasn't interested in living there. Meanwhile, my mum came to the US with an F2 visa in mid '70s, schooled there and had my 2 bros (8yrs). They all came back to Nigeria and hasn't visited for long now. Secondly, how do I present this scenario at the interview? I still have 2weeks to my appointment, mum hasn't got an appointment yet. Thanks.

your profile looks good. Your mum's also as she returned to Nigeria after her studies.

I will advise you add your mum to your profile and reschedule an appointment for all three. You can do that by using the feedback button at the left side of your profile page to contact the embassy. Tell them you will like to add a 3rd family member as your dependant and reschedule another date. Since your mum will be going with you why not take your 2nd child along?

Your booking a hotel to me isn't a red flag. If asked at the interview just state exactly what you stated here. looks good as i will also do same not to inconvenient people.

Hope when filling your DS form, you stated all family members in the US and all info truthfully? As long as you are truthful, you'll be fine.

Apply via dropbox. Then your wife can go with the baby for his interview. Safer that way

Yes you can fill the Ds160 form but you can't book appointment until payment is made
