I have completed the whole process. I was told my documents will be verified and once it's done, I will get a feedback from fantiba via mail. Thanks once again. Never knew we also had female gurus in the house.
Alright, that's good. They should get back to you before the end of the week. The verification process is quite quick. You're welcome

Chill, you will be notified.

Have you met the academic entry requirements? If not, your documents have not been assessed. Be expecting notification July ending.

Good morning to you all,
A friend of mine at office went for interview at German embassy early of this month for visiting visa, but later sent msg to last week that her visa was denied based on some logistics. Lol.
(1)that she had not proven beyond reasonable doubt she will comes back,(2)and given a month time frame to appeal.
(3)Though,she recently marry to a German man here in Nigeria sometimes in the month of may, which has not qualified her for reunion.which requires @least 3 months.i know getting appeal will take a longer process and may even takes months.
(4)Please house I want to ask,can she proceed to another schengen country with her applications, so far she has another immediate sister in one of those countries, and use the oppotunity to visit her spouse before coming back to nigeria to apply for reunion visa?
(5)I want to know whether all shengen countries share the same data of all visa applicants.
(6)very urgent please.
(7) Danke

Germany is not smiling on visiting or tourist visa presently. They are seeing the people going for such as potential immigrants trying to use the route. If you read some pages back , you will see the experience and testimonies of about two different people I think. Yes, all schengen countries shared the same database. She needs to take it cool first and re-strategise. Shalom

Good morning. I took my aunt to the German embassy on Monday for interview, after the interview she was asked to get a courier envelope and submit. Does it mean she would be granted visa? If she would be granted, how long would it take before we get a response? Please note the following.

- She's 72 Years old

- She only speaks igbo

- she applied for a short term visa to visit her son who is a German citizen.

Thanks

Good Morning Country People...

I know this is a long post, making it quite daunting to answer all the questions...Es tut mir leid, na beg I dey sad...

I've gone through some of the old posts, so Q6 has been partly answered.

Others are still largely unanswered.

Please gurus in the house, kindly find time to answer.

I'm sure it would benefit lots of us here.

Danke'

I guess I'm in similar shoes with you but my questions are more...

Let me start by greeting the house and everyone that has sustained the tempo on this thread. Thumbs up folks!

I was once quite active on this thread but sadly after the schools I wanted failed to give me admission, I changed focus to another country.

Like the prodigal Son I'm back and good news is: FAU Erlangen gave me admits for the course of my choice.

So, forgive my rustiness, I'd love to be brought up to speed with recent happenings as regards schooling in Deutscheland .

My list of questions:

1. For FormA, what Bank offers the best rate and how much is the total needed in naira? (Used to be 1.8mil at the time I was here but I know it's almost double now)

2. Since I'm still in Nigeria atm, what viable skills can I quickly pick up that might help one get a good side hustle to provide fund for the 2nd year? I've picked up my German studies again but outside the Language, what else can I quickly learn?

3. In the light of the 2nd year funding, is it totally possible that I get ALL the money during my 1st year? Is it realistic to believe that you can garner all the funds for the second year during 1st year side hustle? What options are available in case my studies get so intensive and I can't do a any hustle?

4. Are there any tony jobs one can get as a student? I mean, like an averagely good part time good job( not necessarily the high profile ones)? If programming, what language? Is there any hot cake IT job that I can quickly pick up the skills even before leaving Nigeria?

5. I'm an Engineer/ IT personnel with some years of experience, what are the prospects after completion of MSc?
What is required for securing PR? How long do you have to stay after studies? What amount do you need in your account? Must you get a job in your field and what's the possibility of that?

6. I'm yet to get my offer letter and sadly the Lady to send it won't be available till July but in the interim what can I do to fast track the Visa process? I learnt on the thread that Finitiba accounts are easier and faster ( Hope that is correct), what do I need to open one? 'm guessing I'd need the admission letter but who says I'm not wrong...
Generally, what's the next step to take after getting the admission letter?

Sorry about my lengthy questions and my seeming laziness, I I don't think I am.
I intend to still crawl pages of this thread but would love a head-start to fast-track the process.

My people say you don't miss your route when you ask around for directions...Abeg show some love.

Thanks guys!
Vielen Danke'

Yes, she can apply to poorer countries lik Poland or Hungary. If she goes through belguim, the delay might run her mad.

1. U may need to take some time out and visit some banks to sample the best shot! Meanwhile the 8640 is about 3.4m now.

2. Someone mentioned programming and graphics design skills meanwhile the German lang skills is vital too.

3. Good financial mgt skills can help u spend little out of the monthly amount you're allowed to use from the blocked account so u still have a reasonable amount for the second yr as hustle continues.

4. Pick any programming language and master it

5. There are prospects for IT plus your experience. For PR contact @honourableseyi, Futurewise, et al

6. You the admission letter to open the fintiba account. Get your funds ready so immediately the letter drops, u open the fintiba Acc and get your Acc details and book for visa interview.

My 1€ idea wink

Tschuss

I think it's the one with the account details u should attach because I attached that one that contains the contract details and I was told that I did not attach the necessary doc for student visa app. although I was a given a date.
