Go and preach this in SE and SS

Ewwww, you sound so pained and frustrated. Tone down your insults, you can really make your point without using abusive words.

Are you suggesting that the aim of IGBOS to partake in the governance of Lagos state is wrong? Why? Are Igbos not Nigerians? How do you know that you will not be given an opportunity to partake in politics in South Eastern states? Have you tried?

I think we should be clear about what we want as Nigerians. A United Nigeria means that NIGERIANS must be free to live and partake in the Nigerian project from any state they choose. Lagos state, by virtue of history, happens to be a good example of Nigerianness. If it is only Yorubas that must lead in Lagos state, which is not befitting for a cosmopolitan NIGERIAN city, then we must start to question what being a Nigerian means?

You need to cool down. You sound hypertensive. [/quote]

“Appointments in Lagos State have never reflected on the constitutional stipulation of carrying all the people of the state along, even at local council levels, particularly in the appointment of judges in the state. Are Yorubas better qualified than other Nigerians in Lagos State?”

“Lagos State Government continues to fund Eyo Festival but leaves the Igbo day Festival or New Yam festival to South-East governors to fund. Should Ndigbo then pay their dues to South-East Sates governments?”

“Lagos State House of Assembly continues to conduct the house business on Yoruba language, translating that Lagos State is now a mono lingual State, is this as a negligence of facts on ground or that Ndigbo offspring in Lagos State should forgo their cultural background or give up their political rights?”

The above text in the open letter to Gov Fashola proved the saying right, that give a man an inch and he will attempt to take a mile.

The same Igbos who would not allow their fellow igbos from other states have any political position in their own wards and local government even if the candidate's greatgrandfather was born there, suddenly felt Yorubas should not be better qualified than other tribes in their own traditional home. How can a people who are not ready to carry themselves along within their own homogeneous tribal enclave, be asking to be carried along in a foreign land?

Suddenly, they wanted to be dictating what language we speak in our own domain, and what festivals we fund with state funds, as though Yorubas should care about any alien new yam festival.

In a Yoruba state where Igbos are working and growing in the public service as commissioner, ministry directors, school principals and headmistresses, agency heads etc, the greedy Igbo still wanted more and wailed lamentations uncontrollably till it found itself kicked out into the gutter where ingrates dwell.

This letter turned the tide and opened my eyes to the kind of person I deal with, who comes with extreme humility at his point of need, then having gained some ground, begins to dictate terms and making demands as to what entitlements I owe him in my own father's estate, when his own father's estate still abounds unchallenged.

Lol, same people that had about 400 priests protesting in Imo state because a man from onitsha was made bishop of a diocese in Imo state.

Abi the same abia state that sacked non-indigenes from their civil service whereas an abia indigene is currently a permanent secretary in Ogun state.

The Yoruba leaders in both PDP and APC needs to be careful, they need to discontinue their "sophistication" agenda which has allowed many igbos aspire for political posts in lagos...

Imagine these people questioning the use of Yoruba language in the lagos state house of assembly, see the audacity sef.

Yoruba politicians in Apc and Pdp should not sacrifice the Yoruba ownership of lagos for party politics

cheesy @ the bold. such an intolerant group of people. it was so bad the the Pope himself had to step in all the way from Rome yet they are so shameless to demand equal treatment in another region. a privilege they deny their own kith and kin in their enclave even in spiritual matters that should be above secular considerations!!

I'm glad Ambode stopped that nonsense that tinubu and fashola did of appointing them as commissioners. we will keep correcting those mistakes of the past slowly.

They killed the Sardauna for daring to perfectly articulate the Igbo psyche.

They killed Akintola for giving specific instances where the Igbos have used their federal position of authority to shamelessly populate institutions with their clansmen without regard for the better educated host region who couldn't be described as lacking qualified applicants.

Even unity schools where every state has a guaranteed quota being a school subsidized by federal funds for the purpose of national unity, the Igbos continue to lament every year, complaining about the cut of mark of Yobe or Zamfara. As though they are not proud of the strong competition for Eastern slots that result to the high Eastern cut off marks for an already dedicated Eastern quota. Rather they are concerned about the non competition that results in the low Northern cut off marks, for dedicated slots that even the few Northerners who qualify may not take up the admission.

Not being able to meet up to your state quota, there are thousands of other regular schools both of state ownership and private ownership of even better standards than the unity schools for a student to continue their secondary education. Instead they remain very bitter as though they have been denied their own state quota.

They are only satisfied when they have it all for themselves only.

Ahn ahn, our Igbo brothers are not that bad naa.
That would be 100% tribalism.

Atleast according to Akintola's statement, out of 108 new appointments at University of Ibadan under Prof. Kenneth Dike, 3 Yorubas were still appointed while the remaining 105 were Easterners.
That's only 97.22% tribalism.

The statement was made few month to the election. They demanded for political positions i Lagos under the cover of one Nigeria, they did not remember biafra during that period.

Thank God Ambode deservedly won the election ....... I went through Jimi Agbaje's campaign FB page few days ago, and I discovered that the ibos posters who supported him, now make up the highest number of the ipod miscreants with biafra updates on their FB Timeline

A perfect anecdote of the ibo greed is the Aburi Accord vis-a-vis the Civil War. Ojuku got 99% of the demand he presented at the Aburi Accord, but he would rather go to war than let go of the remainder 1%

Maybe the 3 appointed Yorubas were lecturers of Yoruba history/language/literature.

Or maybe they were kitchen staff employed to prepare Amala and Ewedu "hydraulic" soup. You know no Igbo would volunteer to prepare such a dish even if they eat it in the dark, only to come out with oil stained lips and be shouting "Ewedu brain" to deride their host city.

Are you guys surprised?
Ojukwu also wrote a letter to Banjo bearing similar, or rather, more audacity. Azikiwe conspicuously coveted Lagos but our forefathers whooped his ass back to his hamlet.
We own them. We shall Continue to squeeze them to the last drop and when we are done, we throw dem rag tag reprobates to their cursed land.

That greedy son of a biitch wanted 100% or nothing. Ojukwu lacked the understanding to negotiate a deal for a biafra.
The Jews who they foolishly compare themselves with compromised no less than 50% of their demands to achieve the state of Israel and as we speak they control more than they bargained for.
They are always the architect of their own downfall.

Demanded that a market be constructed and named after them in ekiti.
But such demands is an aberration in igboland. Yeye people.
