I once scored 97 in a maths course. I remember making jest of my friend who scored 70 and he usually retorts that we both scored A in that course. Makes me furious because the guy usually passes more than me and the once I passed soooo much, h=we have to both get an A.

70 A. I consider this my highest because I missed the test and scored 0/30. I approached the lecturer and he sent me out of his office. I decided to deal with him in the exam. I so much massacred that exam that none of my marks could be deducted. So, I scored 70/70 in the exam. He later sent for me after the release of the results and he was so astonished. It was a course in statistics, 200 level....Unaab....2007 or thereabout.

And by the way, I didn't mean to score an A in Thermo is impossible. Couple of guys, about 3 of them in my dept. made As. But an A of 97? Ah ah.

Every Engineering student, if not every student, know that sometimes scoring high depends more on how simple a lecturer decides to make the exam questions. We all know this but the double standard of " they gave me" when we score low and "I got" when we smash high will never allow us to admit the truth.

Just like my Fluid Mechanics, I also had 84 in Introduction to Electrical Engineering but won't even rate it at all because I knew the lecturer watered down the standard.

It happens all the time. Some lecturers let you off the hook while some make you sweat.

I'm inclined to think the latter handled that Thermo that recorded 97.

Ur assertion may be true, but not always true. In the case of OP who scored 97 in Thermodynamics, his case may be like what u described, or may be not, but like someone said on this thread, if that course is ur preference ( ur favorite), no matter how hard the lecturer make it hard, with ur personal interest and love for the course, u will scale through with a very high grade.

I fell out with Engineering Drawing so much in those days, miraculously I had 72A once, but my friend loved this course like chocomilo, always scoring 97, 95, 94, at different level of his study.



All the lecturers for those courses I listed in my first post on this thread were very mean.


Anything is possible. Grace of God, being focus, determination, personal interest and hard work made all these high grades people are posting possible.

97 is very possible:
30/30 Class Assessment.
67/70 Course Examination.

Some of us were not even given our scores so all we can do is assume we scored high in a couple of courses, especially in the ones our lecturers acknowledged us as the best in their courses.

I later checked my results and I had 85 in a course in my final year. I just want a 2.1 from school and I'm almost getting it.

98 in symbolic logic 200level and after that I never smell close to that score in Logic till graduation. ...d born you score 70 under Dr.Anele...

don't be surprised I got 7A's 1B year one first semester. n dis bastards come spoil my fine result with an 'E' grade. wetin I no ever dream to get for school. till date I never get D for school talk less of an E. I am working on a way to retake dat course or d lecturer should give me my deserving grade.. till date each time I look at my results n I see dat 'E'. I do hold myself from crying. it was my last exam for d semester n I prepared so hard for dat course, because it took me 5 days to prepare for it.

they don't attach scores only grades.
