Ersan:Every roster undergoes a makeover at some point. The Bulls did, Spurs did. They didn't stop winning. All I see is excuses Ersan:Well that's too bad. We don't care Ersan:From 2010 to 2014. The Miami Heat were the best team in the league. You have failed to show a team that was consistently better Ersan:What merit? There were other players more deserving. He got there on the back of his rep Ersan:I don't care how they age. They were no match for the Heat. Neither was Rose and Luol Deng Ersan:Who he owing then and what is it to you? Do you know what he is doing behind the scenes? Or do you feel its everybody who likes to publicize what they do in the community. Your pastor, imam, politicians, teachers are there to be your role models. Stop expecting things from athletes who are flawed human beings just like you |

Congrats to Russ on winning the MVP. That was some record-breaking ish. Call him selfish, obssesive, you can't deny his talents. I know Presti is busy cooking up a new contract but Russ needs an helping hand. He's only one man, a one-man army though. Free agency go soon open. I've made my peace with KD and i'm happy he finally got the ring he always wanted. Now can the bad blood stop? |

Roland17 Wetin do your Blackhawks? Is it cos of that small sweep they want to tear down the roster? Suprised y'all traded Panarin and Hjalmarsson. That deal wey una give Toews is starting to look like a bad one. Especially when you look at what Crosby is doing with rookies and second year guys. While Toews is struggling. I don't believe Saad's return automatically fixes it Shame what happened to Hossa, he's a big miss next season and would tough to replace |

Ersan:I still stick to my word.congrats to Westbrook but no doubt d MVP should have gone to harden.averaging a triple double doesn't make one valuable.having lots of cash doesn't make one valuable it is only when d cash is put to good use like development of a community den we can say its indeed valuable. Westbrook got only one win in d playoffs wit a first round exit smh. However I'm not surprised since all we have today is just a popularity contest.Kobe failed to win d MVP in 2006 although he had better stats Dan Nash this was due to less wins.anyways congrats to Westbrook. |

rotimi9:Are you kidding me? I'm an OKC fan and i will tell you this......If not for westbrook,OKC would not even make playoffs this season...Though i admit some of his faults sometimes(e.g decision making),he still deserves MVP....You know what it means (of all people) for WESTBROOK to be clutch player of the season? He almost single handedly carried this team after the departure of Durant....i thought we won't make the playoffs after he left..... Mind you, averaging a triple double for a season is not just any stat...If it was by popularity contest, then he should have made the All Star NBA first team......#THUNDERUP |

lolawilliams:Haha haha....that's hilarious. I love Lakers; but may be because I have a soft spot for California. What's your favourite team? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:43pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
aliondo:dnt let the media fool u.okc was placed higher than Houston during d preseason despite d departure of KD.Houston was never predicted to b higher than okc talk less of getting to d 3rd seed.and mind u Westbrook hadn't started averaging a triple double when d all star vote was cast. Harden deserved that MVP he was snubbed in 2015 because he had fewer wins Dan curry.now he is being snubbed again just because a stat Padder averaged a triple double taking his team no farther Dan d. 6th seed SMH ![]() |

SmooshCHN:I didn't condemn Durant cos I would be happy if he came to my team as well. Meanwhile, the party will be over quickly if there's any truth to the Melo, Paul George to Cavs story. Common, LeBron with Melo and George? Over before it got started. I wouldn't want LeBron to ask for this much cos I don't see him chasing the ghost with these much. Note, him chasing Jordan isn't by winning more championships, it's bn the GOAT. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 8:55pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
Melo, Kyrie, George, Lebron for one offense. That traffic jam go pass Apapa own |

A40:ISO players who would get pummeled on transition, you dey even talk offense!!! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 9:30pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
Roland17: abeg o, make una leave them make them add all these players. we go see come 2018 june. ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 9:32pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
A40:I disagree with your opinion about J. Toews's contract, he earned that contract with magnificent plays during our title winning seasons, he is the captain of the side, and deservedly so. A clear out is inevitable but more importantly J. Quenneville has to become flexible with his rotation and line changes. It was not the fact that we got swept, but the fact that a high octane offense could not muster goals irrespective of Pekka Rinne's form during that series. Saad's return is hinged on the hope that it revives P. Kane, which i think would help. I don't think we have a bad roster, i just think we have to figure out what to do with C. Crawford, especially during the playoffs. If you remember, i had hesitations about the guy and he proved me right. Hossa is going to be a big loss, however, at 38 i don't think he has the strength to continue especially while dealing with a skin disorder. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:04pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
Roland17:I would only be worried if they traded Love to get a guy like Porzingis and still add George. Make no mistake the Warriors would be even better next year, I expect guys like McCaw and Clark to improve in their 2nd and 3rd year. Klay and Dray are only 27. LeBald is already pushing 33, Melo 33. J.R 32. Oh well we dey here |

Ahhh! They have no shame whatsoever. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:24pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
A40:And many teams have crumbled trying to rebuild. Like i said, wasnt the same team anymore. Well that's too bad. We don't careSeeing as its the whole point of this argument.... From 2010 to 2014. The Miami Heat were the best team in the league. You have failed to show a team that was consistently betterSpurs What merit? There were other players more deserving. He got there on the back of his repNope. Sir garnett and the big 3 were still a force to be reckoned with. I don't care how they age. They were no match for the Heat. Neither was Rose and Luol DengAgain, seeing as its the whole point of your argument you should. They were and so were the bulls in 2011, top seed, better chemistry + the MVP. Bare facts. Who he owing then and what is it to you? Do you know what he is doing behind the scenes? Or do you feel its everybody who likes to publicize what they do in the community. Your pastor, imam, politicians, teachers are there to be your role models. Stop expecting things from athletes who are flawed human beings just like youOh boohoo, religious role models are different from societal role models. When you wield a certain level of influence and you choose not to use it for good then its was wasted as t-ts on a nun. Being the GOAT goes beyond the court. Your coon, jeffrey the flat track bully on the other hand is like you said, too flawed to be a GOAT. The bald one is not. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:47pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
Roland17:I'd say he earned it to an extent but why I say its bad is because it gives the team very little wiggle room to work with. Toews cannot be dropping less than 60pts in a season with arguably one of the top 5 salaries in hockey. He has to always produce wine from water else na cap gymnastics una go do till Kingdom come. Plus his numbers have never stood out let's be honest. Na ironmen like Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook dey cover him yansh This past season sef Patrick Kane was actually una main guy and even the season before when he was MVP. He is the only one playing to his contract. Saad was brought to revive Toews Your roster is still elite. Only big issue is goaltending, Crawford's backup is gone so if he messes up na problem. Still think Hjalmarsson was a big loss too As for Hossa his injury has actually freed some cap space |
