DieBuhari:I tire for these people. When a Badoo activity thread is opened, they'll all disappear but once one thread about crime is opened for Rivers State they'll start screaming "Rivers of blood", and how every male child of Rivers indegene is a cultist. It's annoying!. And these are the same people that where living with Evans and are still living with unknown Evans and the deadly Baboo group that kills poor people with grinding stones. How hypocritical could some people be on NL!. |

Same shit happen to me in that axis. They took me into a bush path beside the general hospital in that etche axis and they had their field day. Funny thing is it was even opposite a police post. I was released after 7pm, no ransom paid but cash, business cards, phones were all gone. |

Thesurvivor:these thoughts couldn't stop running through my head: 1) Your brother refused you borrowing money from your account you had with your father. 2) He actually brought the money in person to the location where the kidnappers directed, not leaving it in a stipulated location and walked away. 3) they had called your boss and pretended they were genuine clients Someone close to you who knew you had 2 million in your possession set you up! |

Is your brother safe too? I am so sorry you have to experience that. The free-Evans-movement are in part to be blamed for this continuing trend. After all the victims went through some of us still have the heart to tell victims to Bleep-off because the kidnappers tribe is similar to ours. Where's our humanity? |

DieBuhari:Rivers States matter is unique. We had Mad insecurity before Amaechi's regime where the Presidency was even contemplating a state of emergency. We used to walk through checkpoints with our hands in the air. When Amaechi came on board, he actually focused heavily on security. Severally Amaechi himself led a team of security operatives on raids of known host ops around the state. Insecurity in Rivers State dropped to an all time low and the night life in the state even started to return. All this despite the issues with then CP Mbu. Then came the elections and shiiit went south fast. Wike has done fu.k all in the state especially security wise. I have had to move out of the state cos it's just not normal to be living under such tense environment where you drive around town with the constant fear of being picked up. |

Why is op not responding to people's questions even though he's reading peoples comments? In addition, op is a suspect too. You went to your brother to let you use family's saving for personal business just 4 months after you started paid job, your brother said no. Why the rush? Even though, you admitted not contributing to the account. But weeks later, you were kidnap. Hmmmm! Then, you told your kidnappers about your dad's 2 million naira. How convenient? Even if you must mention that money, why mentioned the whole amount? Why not mention 1 million naira? In your story, you also said that the police were working with your brother but you didn't say where their role ended. Even when the ransom reached its destination, you were the only one there. Then, what happened after your release? You were the victim here but also a suspect in my eye. No be today people start to dey arrange their own kidnap. We've seen it before |

majekdom2:You want the people of Rivers state to match into igwruta forest, a swampy marsh land in search of kidnappers that even the Nigerian police are afraid of? This is a case of organised kidnapping not a gang of community sponsored ritualists walking moving from house to house smashing people's heads at night. The best the people can do in this case is to provide relevant information to the security agencies which they have always done. The problem is the police are grossly incompetent. |
