I once happened to witness a conversation where someone supported jungle justice for thieves. The respect I had for that man dropped that day. Until some months later when I was attacked just some few distance from where policemen were exhorting money from motorists. I was dispossessed of items worth thoudands of naira and I was stabbed - a scar I still carried till date. That day, my pespective about jungle justice changed. The expression made by that man "that a thief does not have good intentions towards you why should you be metciful to him" made sense to me.

I have been robbed both on the road and in my house on several ocassions since then. My car had been vandalised but I still do not support jungle justice.

But look at the trauma living in that environ face daily.
Your home is supposed to be a place of succor after going through the hustle of making daily bread. Their homes provide no such protection as someone can come in and kill them in their sleep. The justice system has failed people on several ocassions.

I am not living in that area neither was I a witness to the case at hand but the coincidence dey too much abeg.

May God continue to protect us and our loved ones

Earlier today, we reported that a Nigerian MC Chinedu Paul a.k.a. MC Think 2ice who was mistaken for a Badoo cult group member was killed by residents of the Ikorodu area of Lagos, who lynched him.

The deceased’s heartbroken girlfriend, has however taken to social media to write him a tribute while also sharing photos of moments they shared while he was still alive.

in as much as i know am feeling irritated by your comments right now but i will try to be as civil as possible.

We all feel pain no doubt, we all get irrational, but if we allow grief, fear and pain rise above our humane spirit no need of calling us the sapien because humane is the only feeling the sets us apart from the other homos.

Soldiers take up arms to defend themselves and their country it doesn't make them inhumane, just because there are laws and rules of engagement made by man doesn't change the fact that they took the live of another human.


I never in any of my previous post justify the killing of an innocent man or any person for that matter, if I did then it wasn't my intention. All I did was analysis on why 'people fight fire with fire', I believe you know that.

If we can't critically dissect the reason behind wrong deeds then how can we tell what is right?

there are all sorts of rumors as to why they kill the main being for rituals. They don't steal anything in the homes just straight up hack up their victims. Ikorodu is a developing area for sure with a lot of traditionalists so people think they have the backing of some rulers whi want to become relevant again.

But it all boils down to greed, i don't think that they can be doing all this for just money because what they do to their victims is just inhumane. And yes the Ikorodu folks are coming together to protect themselves, churches are holding vigils on the matter, communities are setting up neighbourhood watches, hiring security for patrol and even traditionalists are conducting their own rituals against them, last week thur and Fri people were warned not to be out too late cause of that reason, and that is even when the three were caught. May God help us in this land of ours.

Yes you've analised and understood why people fight fire with fire but you have not tried to consider the other side of the equation you failed to weight its effect and mostly you failed to give an ideal solution... You keep giving unrelated instances to the subject matter-- thank you for letting me know about the Andes plane crash, well yes they survived in the most rational way possible why didn't he suggest they start sacrifising the living? Why didn't he suggest each man to eat himself why did he suggest they eat the dead instead? It is because that is the best option at hand.
