It really pains me to see double standards and hypocrisy; this case reminds me of the Yunusa/Ese saga during which prominent southern Christians: Senator Ben Bruce, Pastor Tunde Bakare, FFK, without fully weighing up the facts of the matter rushed to pass judgement not only against the boy's singular act but against his entire tribe, region and religion; aided and abated by an equally willing biased southern Christian dominated press.
Since then we have witnessed several similar and worse cases ranging from statuary rape and paedophilia (heterosexual and homosexual) to incest (fathers raping and impregnating daughters) perpetrated by Christian southerners, such as in this case; yet we have never seen such outburst and blanket condemnation against such crimes as directed against Yunusa because of his tribal, regional and religious affiliation.
