Mugu keep crying inside, 99years my foot, by the way Lagos State can change whatever laws that might have been made in the past. I doubt that though 99years for your dream. Come and see your foolish igbo ritualist and kidnappers in ikeja computer village, the properties still remains the Yorubas, the igbos cry when there 15 years expires in their life time, who cares if they make 20 times the money invested, the fact still remains that the Yorubas still own it and you are paying for it. For a fact, it's a Yoruba young and educated man that governs the largest IT center in Africa (computer village), meanwhile we have the igbos has majority there, you will forever be a slave because that's where you belong baabun afonjaheadhunt: |

jcurrency:I can see you are really pained and surprised by the revelation well I am sorry to bring more pains to you and burst more bubbles till you drop dead. Now listen, the 99 years is a fact, Afonja youths just like back and forth blind arguements, in regards LASG changing what ever laws it has regarding land use and lease act, it will not affect existing owners and should they chose the negate on their earlier agreements to existing land owners, they will have to compensate the affected, what problem do you have with Igbo's in Ikeja? I don't understand that part, and how do you know who is a ritualist or kidnapper do you work with them? Or just mere lies that Afonjas love to tell? Any Igbo man who leased a shop for 15-30 years made the best deal ever, as he is insulated from, recession, inflation, change of policy, greedy landlords, and unnecessary embarrassment, harassment most importantly he has enough time to recoup his investment and start making benefits, these are some of the decisions that Igbo business men take that make them business savvy and trust me before the expiration of the 15 years the Igbo man will be able to own his own property too. How can you own what you have sold and ownership legally transferred are you educated at all?, are you in tune with reality? or you are simply praying all you say becomes the reality, sorry boy, not so. Yes for a fact the current chairman in the market is Afonja, but the Igbo's have always held the position, it is only fair that in the spirit of fairness every one should be allowed to oversee the market, heck an Edo man have even been the chairman before, Igbo's believe in Equity and justice so they would allow anyone to rule the market not because he is Igbo, Afonja, or Hausa. I hope I have be able to educate you a little further. |

I find it quite amusing that proponents of secession, particularly IPOB supporters, are totally ignorant of how deeply integrated this country is, and how difficult it will to retrieve one's assets when the proverbial shyte hits the fans. If the Federal Republic of Nogeria decides to seize Biafran assets, there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ECOWAS or Biafra can do about it except blow hot air. Keep in mind that Nigeria still remains the SOLE REGIONAL POWER in West Africa, and is the main backbone of ECOWAS. Besides the country recently flouted ECOWAS court orders. Has heaven fallen? Has ECOWAS's "wrath" torn of a single feather from a chicken? Absolutely not. Frankly the main losers will be the SE region itself as Igbos have invested heavily in other geopolitical regions trade-wise. If secession happens and these regions/the FRN decides to seize these assets, you have neither the military or diplomatic clout to recapture those assets. Hell, you're basically landlocked at the mercy of these region. But hey, what do I know? I'm basically a SS man who strongly believes in common sense and logic, not day-dreams of lalaland. |

afonjaheadhunt:Guy, I am NOT creating any thread. You are the one that made the assertions, so provide proof to back up your assertions, right here. He who asserts, must prove. And there are over 250 ethnic groups in Nigeria, so why are you calling me an Afonja? ![]() |
| Re: Response To: What Will Happen To Igbo Properties In A Case Of Secession? by afonjaheadhunt(op): 1:17pm On Jul 06, 2017 |
ocelot2006:I tend to agree with you on everything you said but there is one little puzzle that you failed to factor-in which burst your theory and burble of Nigerians strength. That factor is "Division of Strenght" in a case of disintegration of the Nigerian State, Nigerian strength will be be a thing of the past, it will be divided amongst all emerging nations and it could even be worse depending on the extent of the break up, if Nigeria breaks Up in 3 zones what Nigeria are you then referring too? Arewa or Oduduwa? If Biafra secede as old eastern region, Nigerians strength and financial generosity will no longer exist and as such it influence in Ecowas will die a natural death, Take Then USSR for Example, Or Germany when we had East West Germany. So factor it and see more limitations that will be faced, in fact every region will be trying to stabilized its new nation and not creating a nation of tension or chasing out already existing investors, that will be the very last moved if at all, and why do you think these new nations will want to be enemies when they stand to gain more by working together? It is just war monger that are trying to put confusion in the simple quest for secession. |
