in the Lord's prayer.. i believe it says “forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us".. not “forgive us because we believe you sent your son to die for our sins"
Nawa oo you are different then. I have never seen anyone that says he's a Christian but yet deny Jesus. Jesus is the essence of Christianity.

Krishna, the 8th manifestation of Lord Vishnu understood the implications of coming to the earth with either white or black skin that's why he choosed a blue skin.
Those who created Jesus made a mistake of given him a white skin

A Christian that doesn't believe Jesus died for him. He wants to depend on his own good works to meet Jesus.

Interesting!

But do you believe Jesus is the son of God?

This one wey you don jump to partial Christianity, I no understand you again. undecided

good works? nah.. anyone could fake that.. i also have a different concept of the afterlife... sometimes I'm not sure I'd qualify as a Christian.. maybe I'll drop the label

But do you believe Jesus is the son of God?
of course.. i don't deny the divinity of Christ.. its just that i have a different view of things.. there are very different views of Jesus

This one wey you don jump to partial Christianity, I no understand you again. undecided

i guess i learn new things everyday.. I'm on a journey to discover the real Jesus... the historical one... if it coincides with the biblical view, I'll be back to my old self.. if not, I guess I'll find out then

He follows the some teachings of Christ but doesn't believe Christ died for him. That's his own denomination. We have some many denominations and they have caring doctrines and dogmas.

Do you understand?

My brothers, we know in our hearts that the son of God was not a black man. The Bible tells us Pride cometh before a fall. We must put aside our childish things and first humble ourselves to receive His blessings.

That passage itself is love, quoting the bible to point out a message is not 419. 419 is to dupe a person.

Do you think I want to dupe your heart? grin

[quote author=ednited post=57912964]After one of my recent
lectures, a Christian college
student approached me and
asked if black people are
uncomfortable with the fact
that Jesus is white. I
responded, “Jesus is not white.
The Jesus of history likely
looked more like me, a black
woman, than you, a white
woman.”
I wasn’t shocked by this
student’s assumption that
Jesus was of European
descent, or the certitude with
which she stated it. When I
am in US Christian spaces, I
encounter this assumption so
often that I’ve come to believe
it is the default assumption
about Jesus’ appearance.
Indeed, white Jesus is
everywhere: a 30-foot-tall
white Savior stands at the
center of Biola University’s
campus; white Jesus is
featured on most Christmas
cards; and the recent History
Channel mini-series The Bible
dramatically introduced a
white Jesus to more than 100
million viewers. In most of
the Western world, Jesus is
white.
While Christ the Lord
transcends skin color and
racial divisions, white Jesus
has real consequences. In all
likelihood, if you close your
eyes and picture Jesus, you’ll
imagine a white man.

The White men has so program our brain and Africa is so foolish that anytime we want to act drama in our local church we make Jesus white and devil black (LWKMD) and we always ask why we are not moving forward. Why not the other way round. Even in our chris mass card it's WHITE JESUS, WHITE MARRY and WHITE JOSEPH. Paul white, David white,John white, Peter white, moses white, Abraham white, Eliajh white. (Book of bible story do well) I guess only judas is Black from Anambram Hahahhahahahahahahahahahah ]

Thanks so much for posting this topic, I have struggled over the years to make my people see the light, but they are more interest in financial prosperity than the truth of Jesus. They are content to praise a white God and Whiter Jeezus after being brainwashed! Thanks once again for this post @ednited. One Love

Thanks. What uv said was what I want to talk about. Our brain have been washed by the whites. Jesus is on top and they let us view him white

Does that have no effect on us? Tho we are grown ups that we might not be much effected, but how about the kids?

Any time a drama is made for Jesus, they always try to choose the white person in the room. No one must be picked by color to represent Jesus! Any one with any type of skin tone must make it

I hate when people moan that the color of Jesus is not relevant, fair enough, well then tell those white folks to consider that and to represent Jesus in other colors and see if they will heed or not. Who is fooling whom?

Ask the Jamaicans who bore the brunt of the slavery trade, good luck trying to tell them about some white God.....Only a few "house slaves" still praise the fake White Jeezus...

Actually, Jesus movie have been made in Ethiopia (all are black). I am not going to lie but it was kinda hard for me to see it. Even though I knew it was the right thing to do

That was when I came to understand the post card of white Jesus and the movie of white Jesus that av seen frequently have had an effect on me.

The movie made here must spread to others. Especially kids, black kids might think white ppl are the best or on top because they view Jesus white
