I doubt very much the SA born Muslim communities would grow in number as we don't have people converting to that religion in significant numbers. The concern of the citizens was the growing number of refugees which drove the number to 2.3%a few years back but was curtailed to 1.9 last year. Right now we are busy closing down churches and putting restrictions on them cus they are begining to cause a nuisance.

Yeah kinda a predominantly Muslim North and Christian South but there are Christian communities in the North like Taraba, Southern Kaduna, and mixed like in jos. There are also some Muslims in the South West(Yoruba) and South South Edo. Muslims and Christians also live side by side across the country.
But generally your guess is correct. It is Muslim North and Christian South.
I don't think Lebanese here care about all these. There are some Lebanese Nigerian citizens like the Billionaire brothers who are also major partners in development of Eko Atlantic, they were born in Nigeria and have been in Lagos for a long time, became billionares in Nigeria and seem to be more Nigerian than Lebanese. I don't think they care about Religion either.

There was already large numbers of Christians in Ethiopia as early as 1st century AD, but Christianity became the official religion of Axumite Kingdom(Ethiopia and Eritrea) in 333 AD after Axumite King Ezana adopted Christianity.
