I read about Belarus. But their requirements got me discouraged.

Turkey is very okay, except that no one has gone through the the process till the end.

Even if Estonian government reaches an agreement with them?
there are specific visa categories that other embassies can assist a nation to issue and C visa is one visa category that can be issued on behalf of another nation within the EU

not refused but my application was deleted and my money refunded back to me. the thing is that i applied for tourist visa (C visa), as we all know one have to state the purpose of the journey. i stated in my back-up letter that am going to belgium to get my TRP and certificate of enrollment. thats it.

This is the reason it was denied. If only you were able to come up with another reason.

I had my visa within 72hrs after applying online (India e-visa). I am from Ghana and a Ghanaian national.

Can a couple of you guys come to Ghana and try applying from the India embassy perhaps meeting the consular or his secretary.

Another way is, you may come to the Estonian consulate in Ghana. He gonna give you a written letter to the India embassy in Ghana.

No please I haven't seen anyone. For the Egypt embassy I know the applicant should have a resident permit in Ghana. That of India embassy in Gh, m only suggesting.

Since the consulate to Ghana can issue a letter(explaining the reason why you need this visa and its urgency) it could be possible to submit your application to India embassy in Ghana.

its best u write student if u don't want extra documentation , that's wat I did . I used my current skool to fill up the name of institution .. indicate 6 months duration date ,that wat they will give u in your visa

It will affect you any where unless the person checking is not seeing clearly. Difference in surname means 2 different people. Keep the one that is correct and go and correct the one that is wrong to tally. If is your Waec that is wrong; lucky you but if is your passport; money must drop oh since they are complaining of having insufficient passport. Start working on correcting the error now.

Waec correction - Waec office
Passport - immigration office Abuja, don't know if they have started correcting it in other states. There is a thread for that on travel section, can't find it at the moment.

If you are self sponsored, can you still write student? Assuming you have your own account statement that has the required amount? Or it is just wiser to use sponsor and state student?

Secondly, are you saying the visa to Estonia will be 6 months and not for the whole two years of study?

If you are employed or have your business then no need to write student. Please check your cv and your dreamapply profile you submitted earlier, what did write as your current occupation status? That'ts my take so that one will not complicate things for him/herself.

What you need for the 2 years is TRP, the 6 months visa is just for you to be on a safer side before your TRP is available since it takes 2-3months for TRP to be available which is why they don't always advice using C type visa to enter Estonia for studies.

mine was a self sponsored I used my account and stated student in my application , your visa is issued based on your application wen u fill the intended day of arrival and departure from Estonia , hence u will apply for visa and TRP same time , u will get your TRP in estonia before your visa expires, I think TRP is issued within the whole nominal period of studies ! No
