I observed that most successful transcripts gave more than 1 schools to the question :

*How many schools did you apply to?*

My Case:
I applied to only one school...

Though... I contacted several other schools admission office when I was searching for obvious reasons... To enquire before making my final decision...

Please house.

What are my chances?
Am I at a disadvantage?
Does it poses any harm?

I got to the embassy around 5:30 am. Skipping to the checking point. My name was note found on the book for scheduled interview. I was asked to go sit down(20-30 minute thereabout) , for my mind, I said I am done today. Yet I fight it back in my spirit. I was later called up that my name dey system, so I was cleared to go. Got to the judgement room for screening and biometric. Submit docs for screening, then hurried to the rest room to do the usual and pray once more because I already met and seen people wey dey frown face with blue paper. For inside toilet, I dey hear my name, lagbaja come to window 14, I sit down for rest room dey do d tin dey go. Finally I came out after 5min. The whole room put eye on me, na u dem dey call since. I hurried to 14, she then ask me to bring my doc. Is this how to fill a form, na wetin she ask, she then ask me some questions I replied and she typed. I knew say na my ds160 she was referring to. I forgot biometric, I was later called out of line by the Cgi to go out of line to go do biometric. I return. Now to window 4. She's in her 30s I suppose.

Me: morning and how was your night?
Vo: very fine and yours
Me: its very lovely
Vo: your doc please
Me: passing the documents. Here it is
Vo: why are you going to the US?
Me: (I said you are finished today for my mind, cos I don rehearse answer to this question) I am going to the US for my masters degree at Montana State University (cut in)

Answer this way: 'I considered 3 schools but eventually settled for this one.' Look for two names and tell VO if he asks you to name them; you can't attend two schools at the same time.

It's Texas A&M college station. I'm considering spring 18 admission and already registered for gre which is to be taken next month. Also I'd appreciate it if you could highlight some of the schools that might consider my profile for admission. Thanks.

Which of the Texas A&M? Because College station is > others( Kingsville, Commerce etc). College station is very competitive. But if it's Kingsville then I'm guessing it's probably the other parts of your application, like LOR and SOP because your GRE is okay for the school. Your CGPA is good and for LSU do they do rolling admission? How early or late did you apply? Do they have a GRE Quantitative cutoff for their Engr courses? Some schools might have theirs at 160 or less. So you need to know these things. Those are the factors you need to consider. If you feel you can do better in your GRE and you're not considering spring 18 then you can write it but if not, there're schools your GRE and profile generally would get you into. However if you're waiting till fall 18 I'll advice you take another GRE and get above 310 (160 and above in your Quantitative).

If this isn't late. Try LOBIM hotel at no 37. ajeniya street at obalende main bus stop. You can bike there from obalende. They have 6k and 8k rooms. From obalende u can charter keke to the embassy for 500naira or less. It's about 8 min drive.

All Ds-160 forms have question on education ,but when the network is bad the form for that because they wrote the code for that ad some other pages in a special way... If you have an idea about programming you'd understand.

But UTD is good and from this thread ETSU seems to give a lot of scholarship and GA. You can find schools using GRE in these pictures, although It's not complete. I had deleted them from my phone, i just had someone I sent it to earlier resend them but he too couldn't find the rest. I hope you and others find them useful.

When Trump first came in it was stopped , then later put back on ..........I don't know the current status , too lazy to check but that information is on their official website
