You are not correct. I am familiar with this scriptures. Nowhere does King Solomon state he is black. God's chosen were not black. Please provide scriptural proof of what you say.

You asked for proof that King Solomon is Black, I provided it now you are coming to give me another argument.
I am not here to win arguments, I am here to state the truth and the fact.

Look, I may be responsible for what to show you, I am not responsible for what you fail to see for an American Indian proverb goes thus:

"How do you wake up a person who is pretending to be asleep?"

Therefore, thanks for the brief discussion and exchange of ideas, I wish you all the best and that is that, about that.

I dnt use whatsapp now. But I used to

And the app is - HOLY BIBLE IN AMHARIC.
Am very sorry i cant tell u how i downloaded it cuz i sent it to my phone from other ppl undecided

I love the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church too but I attend Cherubim & Seraphim Church which was founded in western Nigeria since 1925. The ceremonies, beliefs and practices are almost exactly the same at the Tewahedo church. We wear white clothes to church, no shoes allowed in prayer House, women in their period cycle cannot enter the church, a lot of fasting and praying takes places, we call on angels to carry our prayers to God (as well as praying to God directly), we forbid the eating of Pork, we cast out evil demons, we believe in the Ark of the Convenant etc
It's so similar to the Tewahedo church it's amazing that spirituality in East and West Africa can be so similar! smiley

I know what you are saying, but because I am a man of truth I always speak the truth and the truth is that he is the greatest man on earth. Christ returned. "Power of the Trinity". He did not run away to England when Italy invaded; it was the world powers who advised him to go and they supported HIM and there photos to support this point, he was not like some terrorist dictator King who ran like a rat to the safest place as soon as war came to his country...lol

He was in Bath in the UK for 4 and half years before returning to ET, I have been to his House in Bath and I have seen his bedroom and held his staff that he held in his hand! All the photos that I took on that day in 1999 mysteriously disappeared when I tried to view them on the camera (very strange indeed!). Mobile phones did not have cameras at the time...
He spent $30 million on his coronation when the mass of the peasants were in dire need.

When Ethiopia started to know that Italy are going to invade Ethiopia back then, Atse Haile Selassie I offered Italy leader Bento Mussolini to take 1/2 of Abyssinia/Ethiopia and for him to have some level of power for the remaining territory, but Mussolini declined the offer.

During the early months of the 2nd Italo-Abyssinia, most of his generals thought he was going to stay to Ethiopia and die if that should be the way, but he left for Jerusalem for pray and went to UK.

During his exile in UK, Marcus Gravely(the man who wrote the prophecy of Rastafarian religion) went to UK to discuss with him, but Haile Selassie refused because he was a Nigro/black.

He brought lucrative cake from France for his Dog birthday, while the most of the ppl were in starvation. He ignored the famine of 1973 GC and tried his best to censored it from foreign medias, because he didn't want to ashamed himself. Millions of Ethiopians died just from this famine. Most of the dead were Wollo Oromos. But a BBC reporter exposed it to world and it became one of the reason among others for his downfall in the following year.

• If there should be a great Ethiopian leader who should be a role model for all blacks, then that man is definitely Atse Tewodros II. He didn't had linkage with Solomonic dynasty, but he became Atse(Emperor) through his own victory against others. He was a man not for the few elites, but for the mass poor. If his vision had been fully implemented, Ethiopia would have definitely be in the same level as Japan by now.

Wow! Very interesting.

Please show us the different evidence that you yhave in regard to all the allegations above. E.g, Photos, Videos, paper documents etc

HS coronation was on 02/11/1930, are you telling me that ETHIOPIA spent $30M in 1930? Do you know what the value of $30M in 1930 will be in this day and age?
Please, I can't wait to see at least a single page of documentary poof of these "alleged" serious criminal activities on the part of the most honoured King in Modern History.

Many Thanks

I know Ethiopian Royal history very well, even as far back as Empress Zawdittu! So I am familiar with Ras Menelik, and the different Abuna that led the Orthodox church in Ethiopia. I know about the Emperors but the one you mentioned above committed suicide in the end? True or False? Aha...How can that be a role model for the Noble African people? Huh?

It's rather $3 million. Sorry for my mistake. I've no agenda behind it.

The below site say Haile Selassie declined to Marcus Garvey and other blacks in 1936, but it doesn't say it was because they were black. But I've read that say like that in the past. Can't find the site. I will show you if I find it.

Thanks. I was waiting for you to come back before correcting you! You are correct; The New York Times reported that the Coronation cost $3M in 1930. No qualms with that, here we are talking about the Coronation of a King of Glory; what do you expect? Have you forgotten what happened in John 12 Verse 3-8? Or did you forget Mark 14 Verse 3-11?

Let us be careful of murmuring which is unprofitable, please. Or are we trying to be like Judas in that passage?

Give thanks

My reply to your comments about Marcus Garvey is that, I know many Black/Negro people that HS met and even gave gifts to, some of them are simple RastafarI men who were honoured by HIM. So that squashes the argument of HIM not liking Black negros etc

The Bible says that a Prophet is not honoured in his own country and by his own people and that is what you are fulfilling exactly. Though I respect your views, I have more respect for the objective reality and truth.

Hear this, even Jesus-Imanuel (as innocent and blameless as He was) was falsely accused and he had people criticising and blaming Him for things that He did not do! So much so that they nailed him on the cross! (between two thieves, to make Him look like a thief, innit?)

So I will be very stupid and naive to think that people will not blame or criticise HS in his position as a King. I had someone telling me that HS used to consult a witch doctor...lol (Where will all these jokes end?)

I deal with Truth and facts nothing else. Please read the Bible more...

Imagine someone who was so world famous and wealthy that he was able to spend $3M in1930 , now picture that person consulting a witch-doctor in Ethiopia for.....erm, hold on, what was he consulting a witch doctor for? Well, maybe for a few $$$ more, or perhaps to get some love potion to attract more women or maybe he was doing it for long life. Just bear in mind that we are talking about an African man that won TIME Magazine "Man of the Year" award in 1935 and 1936!

How many other black man (or even White man for that matter) has won TIME Magazine "Man of the Year" award back to back, year after year? Well, if it was his witch doctor that made him win the awards two years in a row, honestly I would like to meet that witch doctor maybe I can win the TIME Magazine man of the year award once in my lifetime!

In Nigeria, they will say, that witch doctor "Na Ogbonge!" grin

Yes, he completed suicide. It's better to say "completed" than "committed", because killing yourself isn't a crime.

The battle of Adwa, which is the pride of all blacks wouldn't had been possible if it wasn't for the deeds of Atse Tewodros II. Ethiopia history from 1769-1855 GC is known as Zemene Mesafint. During this time central power was absent and all the provinces were semi-independent and Shewa was completely independent. The Emperors were symbol and the real leaders were the regional lords with the "Ras" honor. It was Tewodros who said enough is enough and joined all semi-independent and independent provinces into central administration. If this didn't happened, then there wouldn't had been Adwa and the loose provinces would had definitely been colonized by Europeans.

He was a proud black who didn't saw himself inferior than the Europeans. He asked Britain Queen Victoria to send technicians to Abyssinia, so they could built him guns and work with them to modernize his country. When Britain refused to send technicians, he imprisoned the Europeans that were in Abyssinia. Britain continuously asked for the prisoners release, but he refused. They later sent him gifts, but he refused. Britain then sent a military expeditionary to Abyssinia. The church and regional lords rebelled against him. The Tigray regional lord peaceful allowed the British to safe pass to interior Abyssinia. His ill armed force and well armed Britain force battled. The British were killing most of his men with their modern weapons and fearing the bullets, most of his loyal generals and soldiers deserted him. The British asked for Tewodros to surrender, but sawing his remaining loyal soldiers die, he refused defeat and finally completed suicide. The gun he used to kill himself was a gift given to him by Britain Queen back then Queen Victoria during his peaceful relation with them. His final sayings were very emotional. He was a man who said no to Europeans. He played by his game, not by theirs. We are proud of him by his courage.

He was a selfless and none materialist. He feed the mass poor peasants and was a servant to his country than a royal. It was this selflessness and care for the people that earned him the undying loyalty of his troops and the people as a whole.

Even if he didn't succeed, he was the 1st Ethiopian ruler who tried everything he can to stop slaverly.

He was cruel, but it was the bad legacies of Zemene Mesafint that mad him so.

He should be placed among the great personals like Martin Luther King, Theodore Roosevelt, Joan of Arc and Mother Theresa if we truly judge his deeds.

Europeans were very jealous of him back then that they wrote many books about him portraying him as an evil. This behavior was a typical racist Europeans back then and still now.

Thanks .....It's good to discuss and share knowledge and let our people know how GREAT our King and leader is. I was born 3 months before HIM left the Throne so I have always felt since my childhood that I came to carry on His works.

I am Nigerian, born in Lagos but living in London, UK. I have never been to Ethiopia but I am always in ETHIOPIA in spirit (if that makes sense).
Being intellectually honest, I am open to critics of HS who have solid evidence to show, but I can'ts tand people who simply repeat rumour about HIM. I try to keep a smile on my face and make it an easy day, hence the sense of humour grin

Dear Atse Haile Selassie II(Tampinu) wink

I think you are Rastafarian. Am I correct?

HS was:-
- 50% Oromo
- 25% Gurage and
- 25% Amara/Amhara

Just to let you know if you didn't know.

Peace!

Thanks. I know HIM lineage... I am RASTAFARI (Not Rastafarian).

I bear the name of my Father as you have already noticed and thank you for calling me by my Father's name. See Revelation 21:3 and Revelation 22:4

(His name is on my fore-head! That's why you are calling me by His name even before you have seen me in real life...His name is a word and John 14: Verse 1 says?.....You know the rest!)

After one of my recent
lectures, a Christian college
student approached me and
asked if black people are
uncomfortable with the fact
that Jesus is white. I
responded, “Jesus is not white.
The Jesus of history likely
looked more like me, a black
woman, than you, a white
woman.”
I wasn’t shocked by this
student’s assumption that
Jesus was of European
descent, or the certitude with
which she stated it. When I
am in US Christian spaces, I
encounter this assumption so
often that I’ve come to believe
it is the default assumption
about Jesus’ appearance.
Indeed, white Jesus is
everywhere: a 30-foot-tall
white Savior stands at the
center of Biola University’s
campus; white Jesus is
featured on most Christmas
cards; and the recent History
Channel mini-series The Bible
dramatically introduced a
white Jesus to more than 100
million viewers. In most of
the Western world, Jesus is
white.
While Christ the Lord
transcends skin color and
racial divisions, white Jesus
has real consequences. In all
likelihood, if you close your
eyes and picture Jesus, you’ll
imagine a white man.

How did you arrive at the black Jesus theory? Have you seen Jesus before?

What is the difference between RASTAFARI and RASTAFARI?

Do you think that you being born 3 months before HS downfall was the major reason for you to be RASTAFARI?

Thanks Atse Haile Selassie II

Firsly HIM never had no downfall, I have already explained that Moses led us for 40 years, many other prophets led us for 40 years so HS also led us for 40yrs (1930-1974, it is 44yrs but Ethiopian 13 Months Calendar makes it 40yrs or thereabout!) So it's not about "downfall" it's about HIM left the Throne...)

That said, There's a difference between RASTAFARI (The name of the KING) and Rastafarians (people who claim to be for the king but are not), instead they just party, smoke weed, play reggae and grow dreadlocks with no spiritual development...

One is born Rasta from birth...Many are called but few are chosen, I am glad and thankful that I was called and chosen and JAH has blessed me with a lot of Spiritual powers over the years, especially the power to set those in bondage free and to open the "spiritual" eyes of those that are blind.

The main reason I am RASTAFARI is in Revelation 21:3 which is around the LAST page of the Bible which represents these last days..."GOD HIMSELF (not His spirit) will be with them and be their GOD, and they shall be His people (That is Rasta people = RASTAMAN)....That's why I am a RASTAMAN.

Thanks for the explanation!

But even if Ethiopian calendar has 13 months, it's still 365/6 days.
30 days for the first 12 months and 5/6 days for the 13th month. So, HS ruled for 44 years, not 40 years.

I'm a student at Addis Ababa University and as you know HS palace is in this university. I've visited his palace(his bed, bathroom and other important rooms).

Since you are a RASTAFARI, it's advisable for you to visit it if you have free time.

Thanks Atse Haile Selassie II
