I will advise you to be on the agent's neck and ask him to let you see your application profile yourself, Am 80% sure your application will not be for fall2017, am talking from experience. Eventhough I already secured my visa through the help of gurus on this thread, there is one related admission case like yours.

Please, can you or anybody give Idea of what study plan is?

I thought it is the number of course hrs to take per term and in total.

Please, let someone put me through urgently, my interview is some hrs away from now.

thanks

Lamexx:
Wow I can't believe I got my visa. F1 Visa approved @ Lagos Consulate (6:30am batch). I was interview by the handsome guy in the last window 8. Transcript loading in a bit. Was denied by the VO in part 11 on nairaland because I ask "What a study plan is" but approved by VO @ the Lagos Consulate. It can only be God. Thanks to everyone especially @OluDare01, Nairaland VO for making all this possible. @Lagosismyhome I appreciate you too. When I was criticized, you simply showed me direction on how to come up with a study plan. Special thanks to @Calfavour for the mock interview all the way from North Dakota. You are a very special Nigerian indeed.

Go up to the search button type in study plan vo ....then you can filter to travel. That will bring up other transcripts. That helps you as a guide then take a pen and write something similar based on your degree and plans

Visa Approved Today at Lagos Embassy.. 6:30am

Before i digress like lagosismyhome grin I want to give a BIG Shout out to the Creator of Heaven and Earth God Almighty who approved my visa today by his grace and favour he place on me. Thank you so much Baba God becos it has always been YOU!

I also want to thank my friend Chidozie (Chiezhh) who gave me all the information about ETSU and the application process, he also introduce me the these great thread.. May God bless you Bro. I also want to Mr Teejay A.k.a(Teedawg) who helped me with mock and also review my transcript day and night to ensure i have the best responses to the vo's questions Boss i salute you sir! I also want to thank my one and only Padi Labanson though his not on these thread. Every now then he always interview me like a VO, he twist the questions on my transcript here and there and do all sort of thing like the Vo's normally does, all this is to get me well prepared for the interview.. Bro you too gbaski my God Almighty bless you for me. i also want to thank all the gurus on these thread especially the Mama and Baba you know your self..

Me: i went blank, i couldn't remember what my dad does, i was lost for words for like 35 seconds, she was just looking at me to say something, me i was just struggling to say but i couldn't, she noticed that and she said don"t worry take your time, settle down but yet i couldn't say a word, i was just smiling shaking my head, after some seconds she moved her head closer to the window glass and said relax, take your time we are just having a conversation with an elegant smile on her face while she was saying that.. before you know it i just pick up like motor wey dem dey push

Me: My Dad is into real estate business and he also import ties from Spain (although i starmara a little bit)

VO: I will be approving your visa, pick it up in 3 days time, she pick up the white paper and circle a place there, gave it to me with my i20 and said i should keep my i20 safe as will be required at the Port entry. Na so i collect my visa ooo No singles document was asked.

My transcript seems long here but it"s actually less than 4 mins with Vo because she speaks very fast and i also respond very fast as well.

That is what is called favor and grace. Congrats o jare

Me: Ma, the truth is if i don't upgrade my CV and profile as recently advice by the Organisation i work in presently, i will never be promoted because i won't be competitive, i might even lose the position i hold because it's competitive. More so, academic experience in the US is highly valued and well respected especially in Nigeria. I strongly believe that when I return to back, I will be more competitive and with a more marketable resume.

VO: So tell me why this particular school?
Me: (I just knew i have won here grin) I got this hint and word designed by @texrem, God bless you Bro.
Me: (Na so i fire my words with confidence) Madam, aside the fact that I was offered a good International tuition waiver from the University due to my outstanding documents, I am practically more interested in the active research that is presently been conducted in my department by Professor xyz. This research is on “Advanced Solar Energy Modelling for Industrial and Residential Applications using Smart Grid”. I spoke to him about joining his research team and he added me to his group since I am going to be the only one on the team from Africa.

Me: Purdue and EIU

VO: good, so you will be staying on campus at GSU?

Me: Alhaji is the CEO of xyz, he imports Solar equipment and power inverters.

VO: Alhaji grin grin grin
Me: (I just knew the visa is mine) Yes Ma, we call him Alhaji at home because that is what my mum calls him too.

VO: (na so she wan pick blue paper) My heart don cut I swear grin Your visa is approved..... pick up bla bla bla
Me: I JUST WENT DEAF I SWEAR, I QUICKLY COLLECT THE WHITE PAPER AND I WENT TEMPORARILY DUMP

Na so she say next... na when i hear next na him i remember to say Thanks Madam and do have a nice day and she fantastically responded with and you too...

FOR ME:
It was Almighty Allah all the way, I had to wake up in mid-nights and pray coupled with hard word and smart look during the interview.
No single documents was asked from me, I repeat NO SINGLE DOCUMENT WAS ASKED.
Hints:
Please dress smartly to Interview, at least score yourself before they score you
Be confident and look straight into VOs face and smile a bit when responding
Fill your DS form yourself or at least if it was filled for you, know the information inside
Apply to Good schools for God sake {I was admitted to Purdue, EIU and GSU, I opted for GSU becos of the research and tuition waiver)
Also apply to a good course that tallies most times with your undergraduate degree. I applied for Masters of Science in Applied Engineering - M.S.A.E (I did Electrical Electronics Engineering in Yabatech.
Above all, pray and pray for God's Favour
