Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea wants to join Real Madrid this summer and has told his agent Jorge Mendes to get the deal done, reports Don Balon.

The 26-year-old has been linked with Los Blancos for a number of seasons but it had appeared he would be staying at Old Trafford this summer.

However, Don Balon claim the Spaniard want to being his spell at United to an end and manager Jose Mourinho is already preparing for life without him.

I don't think De Gea would want to push for a move right away; not when world cup is next year and Madrid just had an awesome season last year with Navas. Would he be guaranteed a regular shirt at Madrid? He wouldn't want to risk his spot at the national team.

Anyway, if he does push for a transfer, we may just get Hart as a placeholder till we get the right keeper.

Bale? I preferred Bale when he was slimmer, younger AND marauding down the Spurs LEFT flank. This muscular, injury prone, inverted winger version is a bit suspicious.

My problem with having Dembele is lack of experience n poor decisions. Having him with Martial on the left will most likely give us beautiful football with nothing at the end. I prefer only a young player in attack at a time. It helps not to put much pressure on them to deliver n they're also guided.

Schmeichel is too razz for my liking. Hart as a placeholder for just 1 season won't be bad. Heaton of Burnley would be ideal for the long term.
