If you kick football you ought to know ukaku is made for middle team just like Benteke. As a CF, his technicality is 1/10. |

Batman too good and made for big club unlike middle team player(Lukaku). See the way he was playing last night, very ordinary in his play. |

joeace2020:Crazy money, but United bid 40m for perisic, 45 million for Sanchez is not throwing away money, Liverpool got Salah for 45m after add ons for Christ sake. 45-50 for a sure success of a forward is not throwing away money. In every regard, if spending that on Sanchez is throwing away money, then any thing north of 35m for perisic is booting away money. Sanchez is a class player, and he did not say he won't play for us, the guy is a hardworking player, he only became recalcitrant at Arsenal because his teammates lack the winning mentality, while his manager is OK with mediocrity. For us it's different we are more ambitious than Arsenal and has the capacity to improve.Perisic is a good player no doubt but when you have the opportunity to get Sanchez instead for almost at the same price, you know who everyone would go for. A good bid will test Wenger's resolve considering he has just 12 months remaining in his current deal. Let me tell you any of Chelsea or man city that gets Sanchez, and gets their acts right, the league is done and dusted. Remember RVP bro |

CapitalCee:Yea i remember RVP, well let's just wait and see. From mourinho's post match conference yesterday, he indicated that we will not waste time anymore on unrealistic or difficult targets when there are options on ground. If United does bid and Sanchez decides to come that would be great but if Arsenal try to frustrate us then onto the next one. I just hope we get the right players for the right sums and not another waste of funds we've been engaged in in recent years. |

PietroRico: PietroRico: ![]() Must you take everything Personal?! I'm only saying we should be realistic, but didn't know it would upset you. So if you are, I'm sorry Dude. Sanchez is a better Player, and definitely gonna be a great Addition to the Team, but it's very uncertain to happen. I don't want us to be discussing impossibility as far as Transfer Market is concerned. The Reason I mentioned Arsenal would only choose to sell him Abroad! Is JM interested in him?! We ain't sure! Will Arsenal let him join United?! I think Arsenal will do everything possible to get him stayed. Arsenal won't allow RVP situation to repeat itself IMO. They sold us RVP and we won the League through his Goals. However, if eventually United are lucky to sign him, great, but being too hopeful of him joining United is like expecting Rain during the dry Season in Kano. Chill Bro! No Vex! |

I can't help but notice that 3 of our 5 goals came as a result of LA Galaxy's players giving the ball away in dangerous positions. Premier league teams won't give us that luxury. Nevertheless we created many chances but were able to score just two of 'em. The fifth goal especially smacked of brilliance. Pogbs threaded a defence splitting pass to F. Mensah down the right win, who then laid the ball back for Martial to score. Also, Lukaku is terrible outside the box: his touches, link-up play and technique leaves much to be desired- but we probably are aware of this. Inside the box however, he's deadly. But it's too early to conclude about anything. Give 'em tougher teams and we'll see. The friendly against Madrid will be an eye opener. |

Sod09:Is it by force? The guy said he doesn't want to play for Arsenal again just like Nasri,RVP, Sagna,Adebayor,Clichy, Toure, Fabregas and Flamini. You scummies are not in Champions league and Sanchez has said he doesn'tt want to play against Qarabag of Azerbaijan, Shamrock rovers of Ireland, Norkoping of Norway, Beiter Jerusalem of Isreal or Flora Tallinn of Estonia every Thursday by 5pm, is that too much to ask for? If we want him he will come and we can pay him the amount your penny pinching small club can't pay, that's why we are saying Jose should bid for him. Remember the story of RVP and "the Little boy in me". |

Watching highlights from our match, I was impressed with Martial, the fact he opted to shoot rather than pass is good omen for me, we need a confident martial going into the new season also, Pereira left an impression with his passing and constant movement, I'd love to see what a midfield will look with him partnering Herrera and Pogba |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Leyqute(m): 11:26am On Jul 16, 2017 |
Elnino4ladies:As long as he scores when it matters we're okay. Meanwhile, at the StubHub center. LA Galaxy 2 - 5 Man Utd. Arsenal fan: You're just as frustrated as the placard-carrying Goner in the picture.

We are not even that concern about his scoring prowes but technicality, team play and off balll movement; average at best. The pressure will so tell on him this coming season that to even score will be a problem for him. |

patrickmuf:We need a very good DM to start and play EPL and UCL games. Pereira can start in FA and Carling cup games. He can also come on as a sub in other matches. He's got it. It'll be good to see Mou groom him into a much better player. |

"It was good [Performance] and there were no injuries apart from Tim [Fosu-Mensah]. The most important thing for me was to compete and the second important thing was to see the players on the pitch in a system which we only played twice last season, so it is far from being our system but we have been working in the last two days to improve. Positionally it was good." - Jose Mourinho |

"Their coach didn't play to win, he played to give the experience to his players. He played like us, two teams, let's play. "Obviously in the second half they had players with more experience and better quality and were more difficult to beat, but I think the 5-2 for us means exactly the same as for them, we don't care about it. It was a good training session and I thank him for that and I thank the Galaxy players for the competition they gave us." - Jose Mourinho |

Leyqute:Of course I'm all for a seasoned DM but if we can't get one then I'd rather have Carrick- Herrera and Pogba for the big games or have Herrera slot in at Carrick's position with Pereira coming in or have Tuanzebe as my DM... Fellaini should be used as a support striker when we desperately need a goal |

"We have trained for five days and in these five days we trained for two days in the relation to this system [three at the back]. "The improvements are in relation to four hours of work so I couldn't expect much better, it's something we have to keep working on in case during the season we decide to play three at the back. We did it twice against Rostov and maybe we want to do it more times." - Jose Mourinho |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 11:35am On Jul 16, 2017 |
"To compare Rooney and Lukaku is incomparable and Rooney for us was not a striker, Lukaku is more a target man with his back to the opponents. "It's a point of attack for everyone who has the ball in defensive lines, he’s really fast and a good thing for me today is he showed he's a team player and was not worried about himself, he was worried about the improvement of the team." - Jose Mourinho |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 11:36am On Jul 16, 2017 |
"It's just the natural evolution of the kid [Rashford]. An accumulation of minutes on the pitch. You change your body when you're a young kid, he's already taller than when I arrived 13 months ago, he's three centimetres taller and he put some muscle on but without any kind of specific work because his speed is the most important quality. "Today he was in a different team to Lukaku [first half and second half]. We will also try both in the same team which I think can also work." - Jose Mourinho |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 11:37am On Jul 16, 2017 |
"Last season in this period everyone was saying it would be difficult for me to play him [Rashford] but he was one of the top appearance-makers of the team last season which is good for his evolution. "He played in the Europa League, important matches, and he's learning a lot. He’s a great pro, has a great attitude and last season he maybe was not scoring a lot of goals and missing some chances but it was not a drama because that's part of the evolution. We know he is going to score more goals than last season." - Jose Mourinho |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 11:38am On Jul 16, 2017 |
"We don't have a vice-captain, a captain is enough and Michael is obviously the captain. I don't like the criteria for the captain to just be the one who has spent the most time at the club because sometimes you have somebody with the armband just because he arrived before other players. "We are going to try and feel and make decisions. We have people that, step by step, we have to prepare because Michael will be the captain for one year, maybe two if he decides to do that and his body resists to the demands of the Premier League and Champions League. But for the season we will have only one captain." - Jose Mourinho |

patrickmuf:You don't think it's too risky, considering our ambitions for the upcoming season? Remember we've had substantial injury woes almost every season since Fergie left. I say we add Pereira to the squad as well as one new DM. The consistent acceptable ones last season were Pogba and Herrera. We need at least 3. We have Fellaini as well but he isn't suitable for all the games. |
