Like i said it all boils down to a matter of opinions. Who exactly is a world class player? And/or what makes a world class player?? Am sure ur definitions go dey different from mine and it'll probably spark pages upon pages of debate wey i no get time for right now!!

Both Keane and Ferdinand won lots of titles and scooped up a few individual accolades along the way. But they just didn't reach that world class level for me.

Jeez no time for long epistles. But Ferdinand fformed a defensive partnership with Vidic, which is the best in premiership era,(check EPL teams of the year). There is no English defender that can hold it up to Ferdinand in his generation. Despite he was bought for a record 30m pounds for a defender he more than supremely justified his hefty price tag. Ogbeni there is no way you will define the word "world class" that Rio will not crack it.

Roy Keane. Jesus I won't even write anything here. Zidane has maintained that he is the best defensive midfielder he has played against. Any body that comes out to say Keane is not world class, HMMmm then no world class midfielder ever existed in Europe for the duration Keane career lasted.

A team of Champions does not need 11 world class players in its starting 11. All u need is like 3 class players and 8 harworkers.
JS Park, Oshea, Ferdinand, Rafael, Fletcher, "Carrick", Nani, Roy Keane etc. None of these guys were world class level.

That's a lie. Lukaku's first touch has been excellent so far..They have been quick instant touches or passes to team mates. If there's one thing he isn't bad at, it's his first touch, it's the second touch that is usually a 30 yard pass and we haven't seen that across two games.

Unless we are not watching the same game. His first touch almost always leads to losing the ball. His recovery for the second touch Is what is excellent.

TFM really impressed i think he can give valencia a good run this season. His wing was well defended and he contributed well to the RW attack.

Jones couldnt defend the first goal he was easily thrown off the ball.

Blind was match rusty,those small boys were using his wing like kilode.

Lindelof made some clearance , solid performance and better composure.

Mikhi played well,made good runs. He could be found everywhere (AM)L,C,R,FW. He scored a nice goal assisted by Lingard and Lukaku.

Lukaku scored a beautiful goal but his hold up play and general contribution to the team is below par. He improved as the game went on.

I think they werr trying to adjust to the altitude. The atmosphere is really thin that high up.

This second half team should put them to the sword.
