If they want to leave let hem leave. What the government said is a step in the right direction. Imagine the number if jobs this could create. This was what I was just discussing with someone few weeks ago, even adverts meant for Nigerian goods and cosumption are being short in foreign countries. Just sit and don't be blinded by your emotions and think, just think of how many jobs can be created. The FG could have made it bad by imposing huge taxes on videos shot abroad

Stop being clever by half abeg. Does the forex belong to Psquare? The guy had the effrontery to mock the FG, where is that done ?
is it bannin videos being shot abroad that will help forex or rather the billions they waste on health and education abroad. These schools even advertise on Nigerian newspapers, they come to organise events why you need to come school abroad. where is the mockery. An individual comes out with the truth and you call it mock.... you might need to check yourself again.

When they exchange local currency to foreign and then travel with such money to for any reason that would involve boasting the economy of other nations; it's a drain on ours. If only the FG has put things in order, and they're not guilty as charged, perhaps artists would have listened to them.

Again, the music industry is evolving, and they can't just be restricted to shooting in Nigeria alone.
shooting bad roads with interrupted power supply because 4years is not enough to deliver campaign promises

first of all, The federal government was right in directing Nigerian musicians to produce their music in Nigeria. 95 percent of the dedicated fans of this musicians are Nigerians. how many percentage of South Africans, Americans, Europeans support, buy their music and attend their Nigerian music show. They make most of their money from Nigerians and will not be popular if not for the support they get from Nigeria. you also said entertainment is a global thing but how many times has a SA, UK, US musicians have produced their music in Nigeria. do you know the thousand of jobs and million of naira that will be generated if some of these artiste produce their music here. we need to learn how to support our own country
you do not know anything. Stop displaying unintelligence. Anyone can shoot videos anywhere. Foreigners come to Nigeria to shoot videos. I have seen shots of lagos in the videos of some foreign artiste. It ain't new. What jobs are you talking that isn't created yet... tell me. See, these should even be the least of the issues to be discussed by this government. Industries are shutting down. The same industries that are producing in Nigeria and have created jobs and you are here ranting bull crap. Everyday, we see one or two politician's child graduating from a university abroad and our educational institutions are getting worse by the day. Imagine, what's happening with JAMB. #una mumu no go ever do# una no go ever get sense#. To tackle issues and stop being nosy into matter that least concern the economy.

FG doesn't support them entertainment industry, they shouldn't be telling the how to make their money.

Studying abroad is the highest thing that drains our economy, FG should build standard schools
Point of correction, importation of refined crude oil is the highest consumer of our forex. Let the stupid government build or repair refineries.

Sometimes I wonder whether the present government thinks with their anus, they regularly ponder upon irrelevant issues while the country keeps sinking. I concur with Jude Engees jor, they should stop going for medical treatment abroad and fix the country's health facilities, and same group of people invests huge amount of money in other countries.

The right way to go is for government to influence the entertainers choice of location by giving incentives and possibly financial support.

APC led Federal Government!!! Chai! There's god ooo!

The industry that few INDIVIDUAL started with their own money, build it to an enviable world class standard, now you want to come in and kill the business like others
Chai! Why una no think reach the side of first providing financial support to the young and upcoming artists, then you can tell them to record and shoot videos funded by you in Nigeria.

Truth be told, the artist are NOT using TAX PAYERS MONEY as some are saying here for their business, so you can't dictate how they run their business (just like Dangote have factories in other countries and you can't stop him) . Don't be deceived some of these guys can do without naija(Dbanj), they now have global recognition and acceptance, and they make much more money on their US, UK, SA, Kenya.... tours. you see

Finally, can you guys just pause for a second and think what happens if other countries decide to follow suit and say no Nigerian music or video should air on their airwave? Lol...common sense!!!

see what hatred for Buhari is causing us. all because they hate ds Man they hate d entire govt and any policy especially policy dat may create jobs for d youth. I cant blame any one fight against ds policy since he may eventually be among dose dat wil stil surfer for d same problem. during Obasanjo govt he banned importation of juice to d country a lot of ppl criticism was castigated on Obasanjo, den cocacola was importing 5 alive wc by today bn produce in nigeria due to dat policy and many jobs has bn created not for Obasanjo ' family but to many nigerians as a result of many juice company dat came on board. and I wont blame d ppl from d other side rejecting ds policy cos dey know nothing on how ds same entertainment industries grow. where s Channel O today? ds is one musical dat dominated den and many nigerians artist wr struggling for dr songs to b air on dat channel but today nigeria musical channels has taken over because of government policy dat compelled 95% nigerians content to be play on radio. importation has bn killing our naira because shooting in abroad required trading in dollars: use naira to buy dollar. shooting in nigeria by ds artists wud a way of giving back to d society and inturn strengthen our naira and growing our economy. it wil also produce talent and job to d youths. wt d level of nigerians artist achievement, Nigeria shud be Africa's hub for shooting but our hatred has bn for any govt of d day has been puting us down. hatred dosnt build its only destroy not dose in power but we d masses.

Na wa for you o...
So with their own money, they can't choose where to do their own thing again?
But you support the useless government officials that fly with our commonwealth to do medicals, education and personal vacations abroad?
Do you know how much jobs we will have if the children of these government officials and their cronies school here ?
Do you know how much we will save if they are treated here?
Do you know how much the vacation resorts will make if these corrupt officials vacation here?
Do you know how many businesses will spring up if these corrupt officials take the lead and buy made in Nigeria?
Now they are saying they want to ban videos made outside Nigeria...
Take it from me, this government is not only clueless but they are utterly clueless.

Please calculate $4,000 by 63 days... That's the amount that your president have wasted on medical transportation alone. We never talk medical bills, estacode for the thieves that followed him and feeding... Abeg I no fit talk because I get headache.

All I have to say is abeg bros fear God small

No support crime because it is criminal to say do as I say and not as I do...
