Valencia should be locked in the guard room for a week for that tackle on the poor boy.

Martial and Rashford were no where to be found.

Fellaini jazzman is very strong. Mou gave him the CF,AM,SS position in one game. He had one clear header and wasted it. The guy played nonsense all through.

Perreira should not be sent on loan again. For me he is the revelation of this match.

Mitchel made some beautiful run, he should be given more game time.

Baily was as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar. His partnership with Lindelof will be lit.

Darmian and all the other players were average.

Major Takeaway: Lukaku had 1 clear chance and he finished it clinically. This should sedate those chelsea boys for the next one week. Someone should help put that clip on replay for them.

But this red card in a friendly sha, should have been a yellow...The commentator said the ref told mourinho to remove Valencia because he didn't seem apologetic after the nasty foul and the man refused then probably anger got the better of the ref and he brandished a red card. Don't think i have seen a red in a preseason friendly of this nature before.

after i had criticized our 3-5-2 formation.. it turns out we've played better with it. We should focus on that formation for City. That won't be a friendly atall.

Both Keane and Ferdinand won lots of titles and scooped up a few individual accolades along the way. But they just didn't reach that world class level for me.

In some scenarios, you are not permitted to hold contrary opinions such as now... Keane and Rio were world class by any standard.

I want to believe lana1 is from a different generation of united fans (age wise) hence why he feels Rio and keano were not world class players...he obviously saw very little of them in their pomp so he can be forgiven for his blasphemy!

Lana from the comments you have seen so far here and from those you have probably seen from more seasoned pundits since you went online last night (hopefully)...there are only 4 words to be used when describing Rio ferdinand and Roy "of the rovers" keane...Legendary World Class players! ...get it right next time!

My Deductions from the two friendly Matches;

(a) I think United played better in the first Game than in the 2nd Game. The Players adapted well to the Formation, Game Tactics, and they played it satisfactorily.

Thus, if United choose to play 3 - 5 - 2, I think it's better JM plays the Lineup below;

Pogba was piss poor within the first 25 mins

Lindelof played more comfortably in the back four set up. He was able to read the game well, monitor the position of his partner and anticipate the movement of his opponent. I think we should stick to our 4-3-3 formation. Play to our players strengths..

Jeez no time for long epistles. But Ferdinand fformed a defensive partnership with Vidic, which is the best in premiership era,(check EPL teams of the year). There is no English defender that can hold it up to Ferdinand in his generation. Despite he was bought for a record 30m pounds for a defender he more than supremely justified his hefty price tag. Ogbeni there is no way you will define the word "world class" that Rio will not crack it.

Roy Keane. Jesus I won't even write anything here. Zidane has maintained that he is the best defensive midfielder he has played against. Any body that comes out to say Keane is not world class, HMMmm then no world class midfielder ever existed in Europe for the duration Keane career lasted.

So we should start taking what Zidane says as the gospel?? Same Zidane said Hazard was the 3rd best player in the world not too long ago.

We can make cases for the rest. But no menton Fletcher and Rafael. At no point were they the best in the league no matter how good they were at United. Sure Nani is better than Lingard but he was too inconsistent to be called "world class"
