please house what do you advice, I have applied for interview date since 3 days now and no response from the embassy. what should I do next. My admission is winter but the admission letter says I can start with language class which can last for another year before I start the program later so there is no specific enrollment time line.
i will advice you do the language course at Goethe instutute in Nigeria for a period of six to eight months before making an application for a Visa.

Hello Great People of this forum, I have a question
Please can anybody on this area comment on this concern

I got admission in University of Applied Science Mittweida in Saxony
MSc Applied Mathematics for Network and Data Sciences
How is this place in terms of
1. Student Jobs
2. Cost of living
3. Residence permit, do they give 1 year and expect you to repeat this same block account or sponsorship process for you to get another year to complete your studies OR they give straight 2 years for the duration of the program

Please, all the experience gurus, residing on this area your comment on the above concern will be appreciated. Most especially if you reside in Mittweida.

Thank you.

You are funny o. So na this kind thing dey give you worry.SMH
1. The 2 visa applocation form means you have to provide it in 2 copies. Yes the national visa form. In the intro to the checklist it was written all document should have twos Copies unless otherwise stated.
2. It has be written on here times without number that the questionnaire is longer required even before the embassy updated the checklist and some people doubted it.. Now the update is there and you are still in doubt.
3. The affidavits for age declaration for the embassy is to be deposed by the family's head. And you took your mom there when your pop still dey. How do you expect the court to allow your mom to make an oath in court for your dad in proxy. Nna take your dad there biko except he is... Then your mom can take the oath as head of family.

Ps: your heading for your question is confusing.. You have a clarification to mAke or you need clarifications?
lumyehiteryur:
Hi gurus in the house,

I have 3 clarifications to make on the checklist 4 visa interview at the embassy.

1, Item1 on the list says 2 visa application forms( application for residence permit).... is it same as the one available on the embassy site which when downloaded comes with title "application for national visa"?

2, I've always read pple talk questionnaire... its not on the recent checklist. Is it still required?

3, Can the declaration of age to be signed by family head be signed by the mother?? The mumu court here insisted my mom has to put her name not the fathers name since no b father come request!

Just tryin to be safe than sorry ooo.

Thanks

Form A was crazy last year, I suppose it is crazier now. I used Fidelity Bank.
Sincerely, I have no clue what is currently obtainable.

You can visit headquarters of banks like Ecobank, Fidelity, First bank, they were very active last year.

Good luck.

thanks for your reply sir. I really appreciate your reply sir.

Hello people. I must first commend how helping one another isn't such a big deal on this platform, that's rare and very well appreciated... as you're bout helping with mine grin

Got admitted to study Aviation management in Wildau Institute of technology(yes, different from courses and schools I read here + I'm paying big) cry, blocked account with Fintiba sorted in about 48hrs(funding going on in bits), visa interview date immediately requested, got August 10th.

My questions.
1) In a case where my block account hasn't been completely funded on interview day, what is a suitable answer when asked by the visa officer about funding?
2) Date boldly written on my admission letter as programme start date is September 1st(this is only 3weeks from interview date) but lectures starts Oct 9th, 2017.
I'd like to know if I'm at risk of visa refusal.
I read earlier of someone that was refused because there isn't enough time for visa processing.

Thanks in advance wink
1. That won't be a problem. You can say you are in the process of funding.
2. Since lecture commences on the 9th of October, and your interview is on the 10th of August, I'll say you have ample time, since they saw this and still gave you an interview date. What you should be worried about is your enrollment deadline.

Thanks for the reply, the school has made recommendations on school I can choose that are present in Germany. The embassy has replied me that enrollment for October 1st as passed that they are only giving dates for after early October and nobember. I replied them that my own actually doesn't have a specific date of enrollment as I can resume my main course once I have achieved the language exam result from now tol october 2018. what do you think I should do

just do the language course in Nigeria first before booking for interview as the embassy seldom give visas to students who have German language as prerequisite for the studies anot proficient in it from Nigeria

OK thanks for that, we'll they have replied me and requested that I provide the admission into any language school in Germany which I will attend while there. I have contacted some already so I will finalize with them and give them the details. I have worries about doing it here in nigeria, cause it might still take time for me to adapt to the language as I have already started learning on Germany language apps. But I some how feel it will be a lot better if I was in the environment and learning it.

Please does anyone know how I can get any German embassy document that explicitly mentions to open a blocked account and how much must be blocked for student visa. These banks are frustrating me here.

You opened the embassy website and didn't see the "Visa Information" Notice or at least even read the last five pages of this thread.
I swear I'll query any body that attempts to answer this question.
And you want to study in germany...Unbelievable!!! angry
To be honest I'm really trying hard to be polite... Have a blessed day Sir

Thanks for the time bro.

I am actually not talking about Student visa, but a Long term visa...work, family reunion, job seeker etc.

I have been trying to book an appointment online but I doubt that still works; the page always reads, "unfortunately, there are no appointments available at this time...

Anyone with similar experience in the house?

ECTS is European credit Transfer System, and it is not same as CGPA.

Your CGPA on the German scale is 2.82, cut off is usually 2.5, so you are outside this mark but can always apply.

Formula = (5 - 2.57/5-1)*(3)+1
Assuming your school uses 5 as highest

I do not think that's the correct formula. And the value is certainly 2.82, not 2.4.

Do cross-check.
