cococandy:Splendid, thanks Honestly, I don't get these people. The whites who embrace this model 100% believe that the husband provides; it is part of the 'masculinity' and women are expected to keep the home 'feminity'. I even remember one of my threads where a guy said a 'feminine' woman doesn't drive or own a job. We have a lot of mommy wars were people think mothers shouldn't work outside the home and daycare kids don't turn out well. It is here I see peeps want a wife ready to do 100% of the domestics and yet 'contribute/support' her husband financially; accuse women who are stay at home wives of being liabilities and denigrate a wife's contribution of domestics as nothing.
