My fellow applicant, let's us be encouraged to hold a strong faith and look beyond their protocols of tests and interviews but to look towards what we really want which is the appointment letter in our hands. With tests and interviews, we are subject to disqualification meaning that we only qualify when they say so since they set the rules and standards irrespective of our qualifications, expertise, experience and professionalism but looking forward to appointment letters in our hands with all the faith we believe is what matters now. I was at Civil Service Commission last thursday there at Wuse Zone 3, Abuja in order to see things for myself and made sure i see the Commissioner Representing FCT/Niger but i was told they were at PSIN, kubwa conducting promotion exercise for officers between Levels 14-16, and that it was going to last up until the 17th of July. I called him through somebody who had his contact that same evening. I told him i heard people had been sent SMS to come do documentation and we have not heard anything about those that applied Engineering under the Ministry of Works, Power and Housing AND under the Ministry of Transport. His response: "The result will be out next week(which is this week). I dont know what he meant by that statement. Anything tomorrow, i will give his call a try. Also, i got to learn that, that you were not called for documentation does not mean you won't be offered Appointment, and that some will only do documentation after the issuance of Appointment Letters. In my little opinion, i would say let us all keep our fingers crossed until appointment letters start rolling in.

No. It was just the normal online application advertised by FCSC last year and few names were shortlisted this year's March for a childlike interview question at PSIN.

Do you know that up till now, the issue of how many candidates they are picking per State or per Senatorial District is not yet clearly answered? Asking why? Because if a State shortlisted like say 15 and you are picking just 3, how about States that shortlisted only 3 candidates? We went to see the secretary to the Commissioner representing Delta in the FCSC in respect to a guy who said they were only 3 shortlisted for BPP during the interview for the batch B candidates that were called through SMS. The secretary told us only one of them was called for documentation. If the 3 are equally eligible based on senatorial district, why was only one called. Or are some senatorial Districts superior to others like what we see in "ANIMAL FARM"? Or may we conclude that the only person that was called had document issues that needed to be redressed while the other two are to wait straight for appointment letters? The whole selection criteria is not clear at all. This is why i doubt if this Federal Commissioners are fully in charge of the recruitment/selection processes 100%.
