What's the best way to get from Washington. Dulles airport to Baltimore?
There doesn't seem to be a greyhound station at Washington Dulles.
Thank you in advance.

You can't find greyhound station right inside the airport, but its at 50 Massachusetts Ave Ne Washington, DC 20002.

Use the map below to find your way from Washington Dulles to Greyhound station;

congratulations to those people granted visas and congratulations to us too in view. I applied to a SCH and got admitted, if I was asked at the interview how many schools do I apply to , can I say 2 or 3, will they know I applied to other or not tanks

It has been advised here to keep those numbers moderate. 3 or 4 is fine.

Hello good evening, my kid sister recently got married to a guy based in Asia, (they are both in Nigeria currently) and they've both decided to relocate to the US.
She studied mass communication, and their(her and her husband) intention is to move to the states permanently, so the plan is for her to do her masters in the states, if everything work according to his (her husband) plans, she'll travel with a few weeks pregnancy, while studying she'll have a baby in the states, then her husband will join her. It sounded too easy to be true, so i decided to make inquiries. Please anyone with useful information should help me out. Thanks.

In the personal info section right? there is a mailing address section is that where i should fill in my school address?

Yes boss, the first one after evaluation will be sent to the school instead of your home address. If you need to send to other schools after that, you'll pay $37 each. One love.

Their chances is as bright as ever provided that you guys did not make any mistake. Your sister cannot be allowed in at the POE if she's pregnant and she's holding f1 visa. She should obtain the right category of visa for putting to bed in America.

Or better still, your sister and her husband could wait after they might have gotten there.
What kind of mistakes?

If a someone on student visa, puts to bed in the state, will it increase her chances of getting a residence permit or green card?

Hello house, i went for my visa interview today but wasn't granted. The gurus in the house should please help review my transcript and how soon can i reapply. My program is starting by August

VO-have you travelled outside Nigeria before
Me- yes , Ghana and US
VO-where did you visit in us
Me- i visited five states: new york, florida, atĺanta, Boston
VO-why five states
Me-that is the only time I and my husband have for vacation
VO-How long did we stay
Me- 20 days
VO-where do i work presently
Me - Bleep Bank Plc. I have been working for the past 8 years as a financial relationship officer. I market high network customers and i manage their current and credit accounts
VO-How many schools did i apply to
Me- i actually considered three schools (university of south carolina and university of maryland ) but i choose Adelphi because of the recommendation my mentor gave me and i did my own personal research. I noticed that the curriculum of the masters program fits perfectly into my future career goals
Vo- How many children do you have
Me- I'm hoping to have soon but for now none
Vo-What does my husband do
Me-he works for zyz plc as a category manager and he's been working there for the past 5 years
Vo - sorry i can't approve your visa at this time you can reapply

your interview was good but you messed up when you said you planned on having a child soon and the VO might think that's your purpose of going to the states instead of your studies . don't ever tell any VO you plan on having a child anytime soon or within the duration of your us visa because that's a red flag . having a child with make your visa be denied regardless of class of visa

Having a residence permit or green card abroad depends on the kind of job you have and of course the organization. Some organization is so powerful.

Now, being pregnant on f1 visa before you come in can lead to deportation. I said before, not after.

Back in January this year.... Before I came about this thread, an Agent applied my B1/B2 visitor visa on my behalf which I was denied..

Now I just got admitted into a UNi, now am thinking about applying with my real details now...am scared if that will be a problem

There are the details he filed for me:-
- Am a Marketing Manager at a company, (not true)
- I earn 402k monthly (not true)
- Age 27yrs
- Am engaged (not true)
-Reason for going to the USA is to go visit my aunt for a holiday and also my wedding shopping spree
-I finished schooling 2016 August but the agent didnt use that in my application, he used my
diploma certificate I had back then and because I also went for a year college study at the UK

But despite all this Application was denied

Now I have an admission letter for Spring 2018,

- My school retained me to work for its ICT department cos of outstanding my final result (true)

- Started working there 30days after I got denied at the embassy in January (true)

-Sponsor, my dad (former sponsor on the denial was my uncle) (true)

- do I still have to fill married or not

- should I defer till summer 2018

I know the whole thing is complicated cos am finding it difficult to relate all above information s into one but I know you guys can be of good help to me...

Thanks so much and God bless

Forget about your past denial. Just stick to the truth now. You do have a good profile. There are single lady given visa everyday to school.

You really need to be confident to get a good interview

You are fine. You will see Americans sleeping on the floor in other Terminals too, so no big deal. You can also decide to rest on the seat. There is Wifi you can connect to for about 30mins and it locks you out for sometime, but you can always reconnect again after the lock time expires. Just make sure you bring a 2 mouth charger from Nigeria or else, Boredom will be your companion.

You should told him the nature of the two mouth charger or browse US standard plug.

This is not true. Medical tourism (including birth tourism) is legal in the US, and we issue visas all the time to people who come out and tell us that the only purpose for which they are applying for a visa is to have their baby in the US. Take a look at the thread about that here to see more details.

Is anyone coming to Baltimore/Rosedale MD? I have an accommodation for you. Rent is $480/mo. Electricity/gas - $40/mo on average. Free water and internet. food is free till you get yourself together. I will also help with your commute to school but not every time.

Its a two bedroom apartment at Rosedale.

You should only consider this if you'll be attending Morgan State, CCBC, UB, Towson Uni and Johns Hopkins.

Your question is vague and lacks reliable information to get helpful responses .

1. Where are you now ? Nigeria or USA
2. What school are you currently . If it's in the USA ? Is it a community college ?

Generally if your school is in the US, they should have a transfer centre that can guide you properly on this matter, they would give you institutions that fits your profile or institutions that have transfer agreements with them. If you are in Nigeria emm I leave that for my oga at the top to answer..

Really? So importers of products we are trying hard to produce here so as to help indigenous producers and diversify our economy get the 305 rate, while students that are going to gain expert knowledge in order to build the economy and add more value get the inflated rate? Our priorities are just awesome. This flagrant lack of respect for education in this country is her greatest undoing.
.
Lemme disagree with you a bit. It makes for the CBN to sell Form M at a lower rate that PTA/Form A as the products being imported via Form M have a ready direct impact on the economy. That is not to say education is not valued, however a significant amount of students a who go to study abroad do not return to the country.

Nigeria

If I were you, I'll just finish my Undergraduate in Nigeria with very good GPA. You have a great advantage of discovering this path this early as it'll give you more reasons and time to graduate with good grade and blast your GRE/TOEFL.

You are more likely to get visa as a masters student than a transfer student. Some stories just don't sound well to the VOs.
