The fact that the flood water in Asaba is red is indicative of severe underdevelopment of the area. No tarred roads! Asaba has become a glorified village, ignored by successive governments. This is the first time pictures of a flooded Nigerian State Capital is dominated by RED flood water.

Water level where?. Before you jump into conclusion, get the evidence to prove that water level has risen.Or prove that the drainage system is adequate enough to drain rain water to a suitable outlet. This is rain water and not ocean surge.

Oga before u go about disputing issues with ur know-it-all attitude, u shld have facts. Anyway here's a link u shld read and probably research on before diving into conclusions.

The massive rainfall is leading to rising water levels of rivers and other water bodies... Na everything una dey find who to blame.. Japan is experiencing same, including a host of other western nations. So jus park one side .

Rivers

This is as a result of a closed up drainage system

Recent occurrence, am sure you arnt aware of the term"Climate Change" "Global warming"

Most of the area lies below sea level (bsl) with only few places of 20mm height above ssea level.

For heaven's sake what term is bsl, and how can Asaba be below sea level? What is 20mm above sea level. Do you know what sea level is? Enough. We are not on the same page, sorry.

End of discussion. Please.
