Looking at the picture above brought back fresh pangs of hunger and memories of all the hunger I have ever felt in my entire life. I could not help but wonder what is going on in so many homes living under the poverty line. A lot of children crying out in huger in so many homes and some mothers forcing their dry breasts into the mouths of their last children who are still toddlers just to placate them. I just pray blood does not flow out in place of milk.

Still looking at the picture, I can see some governors who have not paid workers’ salaries for months and some with several abandoned projects scattered across their states yet with high performance ratings only in sponsored media documentaries. The total expenditure of a single governor in this photo is enough to offset at least a month salary or complete one of the numerous abandoned projects.

I've seen the video - all of it. And nowhere in that video did Kanu use the phrase "Biafra or Death".

Again, the so called arm solicitation was a mere side talk. It was not the purpose of the meeting. Kanu went there from Europe to sensitise the North American Igbos about the need to have a home country. He requested for their cooperation, participation and funding - stressing that the Igbos in Europe were not as financially buoyant as those of them in North America.

And when he was called out about his side talk on arms, he pointed out that it was for self-defence, saying that there is probably no other way to keep the herdsmen and the rest from killing Biafrans in their ancestral homes.

By the way, those who solicit arms for war or terrorism don't do so in public forums. They don't post the conversation online or on the plain public web. Nope. There are dark channels for all those. And that's why you don't know for sure who are sponsoring those terrorist organizations and warlords.

Thing is, I am not in support of a lot of Kanu's rhetorics or his penchant for insults.
