That's different, Transformers has always been a turn-off-your-brain franchise, with a director that never really wants to change the status quo. People probably got tired or haven't you noticed that fatigue is creeping in on reboots and long standing franchises? In fact the franchise that keeps surprising folks is the F&F one, it went from local illegal street racing to big time international heists, it's practically a superhero franchise now. Those speedsters have turned into military grade fighters. For crying out loud Tej owned a garage and hosted street races in 2F2F, we didn't see him hack even a traffic light, now he's a computer genius...and we are all fine with that. The F&F franchise stepped up its game so much that credible actresses - Helen Mirren & Charlize Theron - are willing to join the franchise. Geez, Helen Mirren actively campaigned for a part 'cause she enjoys the films.

True, but F&F has been growing steadily since F5. Unlike the Transformers franchise, the sheep still go, but the complaints have risen and folks are actually voting with their wallets. Transformers has already been removed from my cinema, didn't last up to a month. I kept postponing my viewing sotay when I was finally ready, it was taken away (same with The Mummy). The fact remains that Bay refuses to change the status quo - refuses to listen to the complaints and improve. Unlike F&F that has really played to its strengths, if I remember correctly, F8 got just over $1b box office without the help of the US BO (it earned over $220m in US, if you were wondering). Which obviously, had nothing to do with Walker, but more to do with a franchise that keeps playing to its strengths. It's one of the films I regret not watching again, because I had so much fun watching it. I know I actually told the film to "take me now" at least twice. The guy, next to me at the cinema, kept laughing at me.

every scene that featured Mr. Nobody was gold. Even little n0body was hillarious. Can The Rock do any harm in being featured in any m0vie? I doubt it. Pissed he won't appear as Black Adam in the Captain Marvel film.

Are you for real? I'm sure you're one of those folks that says DC rushed their universe. Let's take a break, dude. Marvel had 5 movies before Avengers, DC had four movies before Justice League. How is that rushing? The only reason it seems DC is rushing is because Marvel has produced over 14 movies compared to DC's 4 movies. That, my friend, is an irrelevant comparison. Financially, DC is doing fine and the narrative is working well. The suits at WB are happy also which is the most important.

Now, if you didn't like the JL trailer, that's your preference. Nobody will force you to like but to come here and start a silly company war of comparison is more sillier.
