1) The Igbos did not suffer after the civil war when they rose from the ashes to become the most successful and enterprising tribe in Nigeria.

2) The Igbos did not suffer despite being marginalized by all the administrations.

But deluded Gov. WIllie Obiano thinks the Igbos will suffer if there is no election in his state.

This is not just blasphemy, but the height of delusion.

Willie Obiano is not even respected by his immediate family, so I wonder how he became an Igbo god.

Presently igbos are suffering. If igbos are not suffering why are you ranting? without election in igboland they will continue to anguish.

so the IBO were marginalized under Jonathan?.
You don't know anything about Nigeria history and this is the problems many of us are encounter today.

When Tafawa Balewa was Prime Minister of Nigeria;

Chief of Army Staff was from SE
Chief of Naval Staff was from SE
IG of Police was from SE
Chief of Defence staff was fron SE
Internal Affairs Minister SE
External Affairs Minister SE
Education Minister South SE
Many other key ministries to SE
Parliament President SE
Unilag VC from SE
University of Ibadan VC from SE
North resisted same at ABU!

Still there was dissatisfaction by SE, the officers from the region killed this same Balewa!!!!

Out of all the most senior officers in Nigeria, SE has 37, none was killed. 8 from the north, all of them were killed. 10 from the west, 2 were killed.

Then Ironsi imposed a unitary system of government on the country so that everything can belong to a region who snatched it!

We must know our history so that when we want to make corrections, we will not end up concealing the truth. This has nothing to do with tribalism but everything to do with the truth.....at times when lies litter the streets.

These are documented facts!

Thou shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

Ayekooto Akindele. Copied....

This is my major issue with these people, they never remembered how they have marginalized others in the past, they don't want to remember the former things, " dem be like old things have passed away ".
Thank God for history and the internet, people would have been fooled into believing all the soappy tears they were shedding all over the place.

This was because we had Meritocracy then. Belewa was from the British school of thought. Appointments were done on merit then and IGBOs were leading in almost all aspects of life. Igbos had top positions everywhere because they were the most educated and qualified.

Ahmadu Bello resisted an Igbo VC at ABU purely on tribal sentiments and pride.

The height of delusion is to think Biafra can ever happen
get with the program, there will be no Biafra. The powers that be do not want the country to split up so there will be no Biafra. The masses are more than the elite but that only matters in a country where life has value. There will be no Biafra because the elite and the smart people from all sides know that if the SE goes all the other regions will go and the strength which Nigeria has, which is it's population will be lost and the constituent countries will be just like any other African country. Wake up and stop deluding yourselves, it's not about Oil (assuming the Oil producing states even decide to be part of Biafra) it's about population, It's our population that makes Nigeria a relevant country in Africa not Oil, we lose the population and we become any other country. You are fighting a war you cant win!! The best you can hope for and what we should all strive for is devolution of powers.

That is what Afonjas think

Keep deceiving yourself until Nigeria ends like Soviet Union

I remember the census of a boycott thing which was led by MASSOB as the SE region are still nursing the wounds till now because the citizens did not comply to a reasonable percentage hence one of the reason it looks as If their region is not given much attention to some key development.

Population density needs to be accurately capture so that funds and grants can be disbursed to the development of the region.

I hope they heed to obiano's call hence come out to vote for whom they dim it fit for their next rightful heir.

You have crawled out again after the heavy dose of shame meted to you on the YYC thread. Leave us alone. It is us Biafrans that will be underrepresented. You that have been overrepresented, where is the impact?

Igbos did not marginalize anybody. We got it on merit. Then the jealousy started. Followed by the witch hunt spearheaded by T.Y Danjuma in the army. Most other officers felt so inferior to the Igbos.

Honestly, I will advise all Nigerians to follow suit. What's the point of voting when your vote doesn't count.

This is an opportunity for Nigerians to let those politicians know that we put them in power and we can also take that power from them.

Next state will be delta state cos we are been ruled by useless governors from time memorial.

I support this boycott

there is a price for everything on earth, no price paid no achievement, first Ojukwu demanded for Biafra about 3 millions life was sacrifice for it then massobe came out though they are not this powerful but they play their own role now a great Biafra descendants is out again he first gave him self as a living sacrifice as he was detained in prison for close to two year some lives are also lost bcs of this and you think this is ordinary? Biafra is coming one day the Biafrans will sit their children down and tell their children stories on the price the paid and sacrifices they made b4 they became free and have a country called Biafra I may be among those parents telling my kids those tales.

Toh Uncle Willie might just loose out. It is a possibility Apga supporters might be ipobians. I forsee APC taking Anambra. They should field a good candidate. Somebody that would be generally accepted by Anambrarians and ready to work. From my knowledge of APC as a party in anambra I believe thier supporters and members are democratic in nature. It will be a battle between APC and PDP. Willie should play his cards well. Most ipobians will jump ship if the price is right. They are just emotional as usual no ideology or logic. I have some ideas I can give Willie. I like my state under him.

The worst thing that can happen to a man is to surrender his ability to reason or his wisdom to another. Iporks gross with Willie is he ordered thier killing. In the constitution where is it stated that a governor controls the security apparatus in his state. I remember the Jos crisis then when the governor was so helpless. You will call them army or police and they will tell you they have orders from above. Why did Will Make so much noise about the federal might in his state during the re-up election? It is so convenient for ipork to use the line Willie killed them but as it is with the average uneducated Igbo man which is my brother they are too emotional. They don't take time to analyse or think logically just like the gullible northerns also. I don't expect them to behave otherwise.
