No, the archmaester is not jealous, even told him to be proud of his achievement, his reward to sam is not sending him out of the citadel, he didn't have the locus standi to act, what he did was risky. If he didn't succeed ser jorah would have died, that would taint the citadel's image... The 'reward' he received just might bring new Knowledge to light.

Most of the scenes in episode 3 were exaggerated. Hw can lannister forces sack lady olena's town(highgarden) without her knowing they were coming. Ravens would have sent the message across.

How did jamie get to gather the lannister army's without people knowing meanwhile in his same episode, he left kigslanding and got to High garden the same episode

if you try to reason how the characters move,person go just craze,look at euron greyjoy for example,the guy is everywhere.
