Mr Gazuzz where is your shop I like to bring my toyptql camry 2007, no check light but A/c had been tampered with and changed to Manual (not working) and very low rpm which makes the car vibrate for over a year now.... |

Paint work and panel beating. Color code for most toyotas are by the drivers door on the frame. I will be using sikkens paint and all I need to get the exact paint color when going to purchase paint is the paint code. GAZZUZZ: Learning appropriately. I seem to wonder why our local painters never seem to get the exact same paint details in a patch up body work. One door be looking original while the door worked on be looking different. sometimes I wonder if the paint we use here are just fake. Oga, with the use of the paint code, is there a sikken paint on sale with the code or the seller has to mix paints to arrive at the code. I've personally gone to paint sellers with my painter to make sure I got the original "auto base" and this has always been the practice but car always shows sign of a woman on "bleaching" cream 2 Likes |

In addition GAZZUZZ, is the color code specific to the color type (yellow, blue, green) or chemical base (emulsion, metallic, oil base) etc |

freshvine: 1. Some times they don't mix it well, also the condition of the old paintwork is very important, the area to be painted is also important. Sometimes instead of painting just a door, paint a complete side, that way there would be less of a contrast between old and new paint. Lastly new paint will be brighter than old paint. 2.they will mix colours according to specific volumes to arrive at a colour code. It is automated and verified on a colour chart to be sure it is the exact colour. 3. Refer to 1. Basically I'm using sikkens because of quality of paint. |
