I support the divorce cause Micheal is not ready to change and Claire has hoped he will change but to no avail, the most annoying part was the way Amara was treating/insulting her elder sis that gave her reason to live. My opinion though

We keep finding excuses for abusive men. To think that the excuse is even coming from a lady.

Even after being beaten and pushed down, she made sacrifices to make her marriage work. She forgave him. But the man did not deal with his demons before he got married. He was far gone. Slept with his secretary, he was forgiven but he never stayed away from her. Then he turned to his sister in-law and maid. He was even the one that told her that it's over.

One lesson you must learn from this story if at all you learnt nothing is: Marriage shouod not take your happiness and personality (+ve) away. The fact that God is against divorce, should not make you to keep up with an abusive marriage and a cheating partner. If you do, one day, it will be your corpse that they will carry out and you will end up being infected.

I totally support the.divorce even the bible will support it in this circumstances self. It is only an ADULTKID that will blame claire, i bet these adultkids that if they find themselves in her shoes they wont be able to.bear it a day.

To me as a good christian i don't believe in advice but i advise separation in these case until maybe the guy comes around and incest he committed is cleanse from him. but to be frank Christianity put people in complication because let assume claire is pregnant or given birth it could have worsen the situation. but may God leads us that are still single because if one don enter u don enter be dat o.

i don't see Claire at fault here. she was trying to work things out with Michael but Michael couldnt hold himself. All the fault is from Michael. he allowed what people said about his wife got to him. i.e the pictures Amara sent to him, he should have asked her about it instead of just asking for divorce. this just my view on the matter

Christianity does not put anyone into any form of complication. It is people who chose to close their eyes to the Bible's truth.

Even God allows a partner to choose Divorce as an option on the grounds of adultery. In this case, Micheal has committed "Adulteries". I can't find the complication anywhere.

It is the kind of thinking that some females have been propagating on this thread that makes women suffer in silence.
Honestly, PamelB if Claire and Michael come back together for any reason, your story loses it's substance because it would thus become very artificial, an obviously forced attempt to ensure a fairy tale ending. Please do the needful. More ink to your pen and data to your Phone.

Now my own Penny of opinion concerning the story so far.
If you guys observe right from when this story started, I haven't said anything or try to give an opinion concerning Michael and Claire marriage ( i.e whether they should divorce or not, who is at fault and what Claire and Micheal should or shouldn't have done ) because I know whatever i will say will be nothing but a LIE. I will only be giving my judgement base on what I think is right not base on what I feel and know is right out of experience because I'm not in the marriage and I don't pray to be in such marriage. shey who no like better thing.

Most of us if not all of us saying Claire shouldn't have divorced Micheal are saying so because they aren't the one in such situation or marriage for clarity sake because I know that if they are the one (i.e some of those nairalanders saying Claire shouldn't have divorced Micheal), they for done run four forty comot from that marriage since day one and vice versa.
I really wish infact I want Micheal and my sweetheart Claire to be back together but that should be after Micheal has undergone through a serious deliverance at MFM because that thing wey dey do am for body no be ordinary.

As the title of the story says UNITED IN BETRAYAL, from the look of things the story is gonna have two major parts or theme. the BETRAYAL and the UNITY. so let us buckle up and watch as PamelB twist and turn our mind, soul and spirit even our head self through the BETRAYAL and the UNITY.

As I said before I'm not saying anything concerning their marriage because all I will be saying will be a big fat LIE because
1.) I'm not the one in the marriage neither have I experienced something of that nature before. so my opinion won't be coming from experience but by what I assume.
2.) I don't want any Uncerebral being to come and insult his or herself by firing junks at me.

But the one I'm 100% sure according to my instinct except my instinct decides to decieve me is PHIL. something within me tells me that that guy has a dark side, I think he has something up his sleeves but well that's for PamelB to prove me right or wrong.

One more thing, I'm just surprise how someone's father or mother or wife or husband will show case their talent of quarreling and insulting his or her fellow Nairalander because of a story or a character or an event in the story just to prove his or her point or opinion. I Wonder and I won't be Flummoxed if someone will waste his mb just to quote and insult me over what I've said.

And before I forget PamelB come and do something about this uproar in your thread oh. Keep doing the good work of entertaining and educating me via your blockbuster cum mega hit story.
