soetanoreoluwa:With Ahmed Musa, Onyinye Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho at Leicester City, I adopt Leicester City as my 2nd favorite Club. August 11: Arsenal Vs Leicester. My two favorite clubs. 4 Super Eagles players may be involved in the game. Can't wait. |

AIG07:Somebody should mark today's date and also this particular page for future references. If Nacho does well tomorrow at Leicester a certain man that types with a queer ink would attribute it to drills from city in honour of a certain bald lord. But If he fails (God forbid), i have this feeling, that same man would come here to blame him for leaving the drilling school prematurely to pursue his career elsewhere. I no call name oo, bfor person go throw punch |

My leagues this coming season are; 1. The Belgian league 2. The Epl 3. Seria A 4. Ligue 1 5. Laliga 6. Bundesliga for Osimhen If u ply ur trade in Turkey, u r on ur own And my club Leicester. Joel Obi seems to have his injury debacles behind him. Lad has been so fantastic this preseason, unlike him. My boy Nura might just nick it this season at Roma, kid has his coache's trust. Lets see how things pan out. If Ondoa could be this good for Cameroun even as a third choice goal keeper for Sevilla B who plays at spanish segunda B, then i dont see why Uzoho who will be playing in Laliga next season shouldnt be given same opportunity with eagles. |

ChrisKels:"I learned so much during my time at United. Sharing a dressing room with Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Ryan Giggs at such a young age was an amazing experience. I didn’t play as much as I would have liked but it was a masters degree in development both as a player and a person.".. Pique From the above, you can see that lack of playing time does not mean the player is stagnating. That was the point I made. Working with a top quality coach like Guardiola and being in the same locker room and training pitch with the likes of Aguero, Silva and Kompany will help him grow. I wanted Iheanacho to spend a season or two with Guardiola. He got a year. As I said before, he has my support if he decide to leave City. |

Europa League Qualification update Chinedu Obasi's opener for AIK Stockholm has forced their battle against Braga to extra time with scores currently 1-1. The first leg in Stockholm also ended 1-1. Obasi was subbed out in the 67th minute |

TheGoodJoe:Sir Joe, Sir Joe i hail thee. The pique u quoted didnt mention Sir Alex Ferguson but u already bringing in lord Guardiola in ur own post. Pique had it in him but the chance to showcase it was never afforded to him by Ferguson who placed him behind crappy Evans in his bleeped pecking order. Same fate Kelechi suffered under Guardiola. Believe it or not, Kelechi's talent was better harnessed under the previous coach (pelegrini) than the bald lord. It was clear because the kelechi of Pele was better and a different player to kelechi of the drilling bald. I'm not happy he's left city because he could still have learnt a thing or two from the aforementioned big stars he had around him but at the same time l'm so happy he's left the drilling school because studies without proper exams to test your knowledge so far would get u ruined at the long run. Paul pogba didnt make it because he had a Ferguson touch, neither did pique, rather they made it because they believed in their talents. KC, i pray will make it with or without Guardiola's drills because all what he needs to start shining again is that confidence of his that the bald left in a deplorable state. |

ChrisKels:“Pep should adjust his methods to the demanding EPL. This means he should reduce the intensity/fatigue of his training sessions between games." Those were the words of a Dutch Fitness guru to Guardiola. His intense training methods. That was what I wanted Iheanacho under for a year or two. Not just making headlines and calling it harnessing talent. Pogba you talked about is a good example to me. He has made lots of headlines and made name winning titles. However, the young man can not control a midfield. This is a development he would have gained spending extra time with Sir Alex. Also, it is ridiculous if you think Pique only learnt from the players in camp at Manchester United but did not learn from Sir Alex. Haba. Do not write this kind of thing anywhere again. It is too much amateurish. In football, players keep learning but some scenarios bring more in the player. Look at Aguero for instance. He clearly improved in workrate under Guardiola. This is due to the intense method. You can not assure that Pellegrini harnessed Iheanacho's talent more because all you saw was Pellegrini giving Iheanacho playing time. Apart from that, Iheanacho was more menacing under Guardiola. The runs during counter attacks, the intelligent dummies, his vision of picking up teammates in better positions to score despite being in a good scoring position (like when Iheanacho dribbled the goalkeeper and instead of going for goal, he passed to Nolito). We saw more in his few stints under Guardiola than Pellegrini. What we saw more in Pellegrini's games was goals. |

ChrisKels:Iheanacho's confidence is not in any deplorable state. That is just talk. You are not in his mind. I wish the young man the best. Keep in mind that Pogba went to Juventus, worked with Conte and also got the chance to work with the likes of Pirlo and Marchisio on the training pitch. Even after that, he came back to Manchester United and was weak in controlling the midfield ad marked like a secondary school boy. Missed lots of lessons Sir Alex would have thought him at Carrington Road. Making it is not the only thing that matters. As Pique put it, a masters in development. |

I wish Nacho the best. I hope he soaked in the lessons from Guardiola. From the diet to the intense tactical and playing style. Work hard always on the pitch and sleep early, regularly. He had the chance of working with an exceptional manager and I hope the lessons carry him throughout his career. Shine young man and Fly Eagles Fly. |

All the moves to Turkey are not bad. Some can be in the right direction development-wise, depending on where they are coming from. The worst Turkish move so far is Lazio to Trabzonspor. -- ask Onazi. Humility017: |

Why Super Lig over Ligue 1? AC Milan Oduamadi Keen On Joining Turkish Side Goztepe, Shuns Lorient August 3, 2017018 AC Milan Nigerian forward Nnamdi Oduamadi is hoping on a switch to newly promoted Turkish Super Lig side Goztepe despite interest in his services from Ligue 1 side Lorient. The Turkish side have also stepped up their pursuit of the forward after hearing of his desires to join them ahead of Lorient, who have not backed up their interest with a formal approach. Oduamadi is also courting interest from teams in Italy as he has been told by AC Milan that he is not in the first team plans of coach Vincenzo Montella who has strengthened the club with top players this summer. A loan move is what is presently on the card for the 26 year old, although AC Milan are willing to cash in on his services if a bid that meets their valuation of the player is met by interested teams. Known for his pace, tricks and dribbles he has spent time on loan with the likes of Crotone, Torino, Latina, Brescia and his last loan spell was with Finnish side HJK Helsinki. http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/08/03/ac-milan-oduamadi-keen-on-joining-turkish-side-goztepe-shuns-lorient/ |

Humility017:I wonder if you read a word of what I wrote. Did you hear about the strict dietary standard of Guardiola. He weighs players weekly. If the player adds above his standard, he drops the player from the team. A good example was Nasri. So you feel that was not a lesson for Nacho to learn. The only thing you believe a player can learn is from playing matches. Did you see Pique say he had a masters in development without playing? Then read what you posted there. Sometimes players play 90 minutes in a whole week but train hours everyday. It is shocking you believe Iheanacho can only learn playing 90 minutes than the hours of intensive training at City. |

I mean in today's world, people feel a player only get lessons during games. Astonishing. Most of the work is done on the training pitch not during games. |

“For example, you often hear managers say being healthy is really important, but with him, if you’re weight is too high, you’re not training with the team. “That is the first thing, and you can hear it a lot, but for my part it’s the first time any manager has really done it. “So we have a few players who are not training with the team yet.".. . Clichy So unless Iheanacho is playing matches, some people on this thread feels Iheanacho did not learn from this. |

“He cut out some juice and of course pizza and all the heavy food is not allowed,” Clichy said. “It’s a normal thing, but some people think ‘that’s normal, it should be like this.’ “But in truth, it’s not always like this and I know because I’ve been playing football for a long time. It’s really refreshing and very exciting." Many feel unless playing time, this is not important. |

"It's intense," Kevin De Bruyne told reporters of Guardiola's training regime. "Obviously it's a little bit different for me because I came in four weeks later than the other ones. "It's different from [Sunday]. We had a hard training week with double sessions so obviously some people are a little bit tired but now it's back to the real business, so we will see how we are and I'm confident we will do fine." Yet, people feel Iheanacho learnt nothing doing things like these for about a year under Guardiola. SMH. |

Thankfully, the pain of seeing Iheanacho rot on the bench has now come to an end. We can all see he smiles better now. This is the time I believe we will see the true potential. I wish Guardiola the best but we owe him no allegiance whatsoever. We thank him for how far he has stunted Iheanacho's development and confidence level. We will now take it from here. So long as Iheanacho gets to play and score as often as he can, the universe is his limit. Yall have no Idea how I wake up every morning to monitor if the transfer went through. Google even started predicting what was on my mind with the type of the first letter. Kilode? I also hope he fine tunes his relationship with Ndidi and musa as this is really key to us clicking on match days. As for Guardiola, if he doesnt win a trophy this season with all he thinks he has now , then he has failed and should just go back to whatever rock he came from. Philosophy or not. He is about to find out that English premiership is not a one man show roller coaster rides he has been on with Barca and Bayern Munich. |
