I also checked my riders app this evening when I went to iyana ejigbo towards Ikotun, set destination to VI, below is the fare they gave me. Am not a patner on Uber yet Shaa, just have the riders app.

I went to airport....3.0 surge...riders packed at mma2....I didn't get a request...i was on queue and there was only one car...later it increased...later it reduced....I circled 3 times...no way instead I was getting request from ikeja grad where there is 0 surge.

Uber they are thieves. Instead of them to increase fare once and for all, they keep deceiving hard working drivers with their useless artificial surge. My elder brother wanted to take uber yesterday, the estimated price was just too high so he did Taxify. He was happy cos the fare was fair both d driver and the rider were happy. Taxify fare is fair to both d drivers and d riders but uber, its either is too high or too low. Just like gamble. Uber are loosing their customers by the day and I'm also helping them to loose more customers as I always spoil uber when I'm driving a customer on taxify. Once we have conversation about uber and taxify, I kill uber no be small. One had to delete his uber riders app in my front. They complain its taking forever to get a ride on uber. Me too I'll now add too much pepper and salt.

Uber don't have any other choice but to increase their fares. I believe it will happen soon because they have lost a lot of drivers as well as riders. They are actually losing money. The earlier the better for them

Truth is bitter.

Many investors are shying away because of drivers cheating. If you go to Uber office, plenty of drivers hanging around with no cars. I recognize a particular guy, he has been there @least 3months.

Of course I don't expect my driver to make 35k everyday, @least weekend money is enough to cover the rent, and then the rest he made during the week belongs to him.

Yes, I complained about Uber and I have quit Uber, but that doesn't mean people don't make money with Uber, or can't deliver 40k weekly,.

Owners are suppose to demand for more money under Uber, because cars are used more.

Tell me which company in Nigeria pays 20k weekly? 80k monthly minimum...

If you like be a doctor or lawyer, I don't care, wat u choose to do right now is to drive, so you are a driver, try to be honest about it.

You felt 20k weekly is poor for drivers, why not go and get ur own car, then you increase ur earning to 60k weekly. Or ask ur kinsmen or church to buy you a car free.

The amount of wait time, facing traffic or insults from riders is part of the job, so go to work and stop sharing ur frustration, is all about making money.

Haven't you scolded a bank cashier b4, or pressure them to hurry and answer you, or shout @ a Nepa officials for cutting ur light? Or even scold them for low power supply yet they are demanding money, as if the money you are paying directly goes to their pockets.

Listen in every job there is frustration, which you must face in other to survive.

Don't justify ur cheating act, because of the job nature, you were given the job description b4 u start.

I have driven under Uber platform and Im sharing my experience to all owners, don't let drivers deceive u, 40k is the least you should demand for, and ask for 40k deposit, if he doesn't have money request for daily payment, so if he will cheat, he won't cheat you more than a day.

This is an extremely poor fare bro. If that was on oga taxi or smart, you would be going home with about 7k.

When Uber was good, I went from Gbagada to ikorodu and then to ikota then back to Gbagada for 21k. Try that on Uber today

Osolo way/ Ajao estate area is always a good place to pick up surge rides. I do this regularly. See one I did on Wednesday

That trip was #3,200 from Ajao Estate to Redemption Crescent Gbagada

Sorry guys, trip fare was #2,950.00 for about 40 minutes journey

Interesting to note that the surge was even greater than the fare

My happiest trip on Taxify, it was like touring Lagos and the rider tip me with additional 1k what a sweet lady
