I use "Its over between us" or "I'm seeing someone else now"

Then if he wants to breakup but doesn't know how to breakup for it not to hurt.

I will use "I have moved on with my life". Its makes it easier for both of us grin

But why can't some guys come out clean and break up with their partner instead of shutting them out or ignoring them, I feel they are cowards that can't face a lady.
