We have to get it from RCMP. We need to use a channeler though and pay for the international package is you live outside Canada. Where in Canada did you reside before?
Go to the RCMP Website there's a link for what approved agencies to use. RCMP processes the request in 72 hours though and you have the report so no need to get it now until ITA. Except yo want to get all your documents ready now so when you are ITA, no delays.

I lived in Toronto.I beg ya pardon, whats a channeler?

Can Pharmacy be evaluated by IQAS. Shouldnt it be PEBC. Pls educate me if i am wrong.

CIC States that pharmacist with work experience in Pharmacy should evaluate their Bpharm degree via PEBC. It's a long and expensive process but doable, koko is to give them what they want and in 8 weeks get your report . Pebc will evaluate the degree as a professional degree while IQAS and the rest evaluates it as a Bachelor degree.
If one is the PA I will advice such person to use pebc to avoid possible rejection

Lol I asked the same question and did my research. Found out they're agencies that do background checks or biometrics for security bodies. If you go in CIC police cert section, click on Canada and follow the link to get an approved channeler located in Toronto.

You seem to know the right thing to do but u don't.what other opinion are u seeking.
U need someone to encourage u to be fraudulent?

A family friend isn't included in the definition of a blood relations.
Create an EE profile and you would be fine
A lot of people without family ties have migrated to canada successfully. You are lucky to have a friend in canada, that could ease your settling in....

This reminds me of people that comes to canada on visit visa and starts claiming refugee... when nemesis catches up with them they start shouting "had I known"

Oga respect urself and do the right thing. You have a good ielts score and very elligible. A word is enough for the wise...

Hi,

I received an email from this address -IRCC.CPCO-FinalRequest-CTDO-DemandeFinale.IRCC@cic.gc.ca, requesting for my passport, photographs and additional information. I am a Nigerian applicant and the email seems different form others I've seen on this forum.

My confusion is, the email does not specify an address to courier the documents to. Hence, I think it might be a glitch. Although, the letter has my name, UCI and application numbers on it.

If it was not sent in error, how do I know where to send the documents to? i have sent an email and hope to hear from the officers soon, however, I am aware they may not respond or respond after the 15 day deadline I have been given.

So I need help from anyone that has experienced the same thing or has useful information on how I can resolve this.

PS: Can I request to have the documents sent to the Canadian embassy in Nigeria as opposed to mailing it out of the country?

Below is the content of the email.

Thanks

mine was like that too. worse still, i scanned the thumbprinted form to someone in lagos to help me process it. He downloaded d forms in black n white .....before d stampings and markings.
so what i got back by courier was a black n white finger prints form( thumbprint was black) with colored stamps and d main colored pcc.
I even initially uploaded only the colored naija pcc without the thumbprints form.
I then read here that it was common practice to upload all of them.

I later raised a CSE to correct another different pcc but used the opportunity to rescan all of the pcc and finger print form for both my spouse n I, all in color(including my black n white thumbprints)...I included a gracefilled LOE.

All this long drama gave me the highest fears.......but then mercy prevailed..
my VOs must have been a lenient bunch.
my God must have been wide awake on my case as my AOR to PPR was 103 days.

Quick question. Please explain how you did your Naija pcc being that u are not resident in Lagos? I don't quite understand how I'm supposed to get to Ikoyi oh

Thanks. Why did you choose IQAS? My husband has BSc and MSc in Engineering both from an American Uni and I wanted to use WES for both of us. Is this fine? Or I should use IQAS for him?

I have no Pros and Cons about choosing to do my ECA via IQAS. I was simply advised to use them instead of WES because his family had used IQAS and it went smoothly and without delay.

Okay, thanks

I think you should use WES as you originally planned. The reason why people with Nigerian degrees prefer IQAS is because they don't do the back and forth verification like WES does.
Since you have a UK or is it Canadian degree (I have to check) and hubby has a US degree WES usually evaluate those pretty fast.

I see you read up some more on PCC issues. Good on you lol

You are welcome.

Since you have the UK Certificate, go the WES route as there ''might'' be less verification process too.

Ok I'll continue with WES. I have a UK degree and Canadian, but in Canada, when you complete your course credits, you have to 'apply to graduate" to the University so they know you don't want to take more credits, unlike in the UK and Naija where you automatically get listed to graduate. I didn't do that and left because of other love matter grin. So I'm not claiming that one as no certificate was issued. It will be part of my personal history when I get to that bridge to account for those years though.

And yea I had to read up oh lol. You understand better when you research for yourself.

Congratulations! cheesy

That's the "Ready for Visa" email aka "PPR" (Passport Request). You have been rightly advised on where to send your passports to.

Please ensure that you follow IRCC's photo specifications. It is in the PDF document that was attached to the email. All the best!

Good day everyone I wish you all a very fulfilling week as far as our Canada Journey is concerned. I have the following questions:

1. I did my PCC in Benin through the State Police Headquarters which they processed to Alagbon and they gave me after two days. I hope it's ok. The coloured certificate says issued in Benin but it has a stamp of Central criminal registry Lagos.

2.The part on the coloured certificate where it says the certificate was issued for the holder to travel to (dash)......... was not filled though I filled Canada on the white finger prints form hope no issues with this.

3. The PCC was given to me on 22nd June and my ITA is August though not yet expired I hope I can still use it.

4. In completing the PR application under other Family members is it ok to add the names if ones immediate family traveling with you like spouse and children to other Family members like brothers sisters, father and mother and repeat same for spouse and children.

Thanks

Good morning fam, I encountered a little challenge during certificate evaluation with IQAS, a rep mailed me to state that my certificate wasn't clear (a part of it which shows the grade and date seems to be fading because of the material used for that part). I was asked to scan and send a clearer copy to the rep which I did, I tried to make it clearer by dimming the lights while scanning, I'm yet to get a response from them and the 30 business days has since elapsed. Any advice on what next to do? I've started the process of requesting for a new certificate from my alma mater tho. Seniors please help out here

From what I have observed so far, it can be assessed by all of them. But PEBC is the main organization that should do it. But many people decide not to do it because of the requirements PEBC gives them, I think they have to get licensing statements from some regulatory bodies in Nigeria and so on and we all know how that can play out. It is very stressful from what someone told me. However, if one succeeds with PEBC, it will likely be assessed as a professional degree, which is equivalent to a Master's degree, which gives more points.
In order to avoid all the stress they decide to go for WES and IQAS assessment and the degree will be assessed as a Bachelor's degree.
If he/she intends to practice as a pharm in Canada in the future, then PEBC process cannot be skipped. I see going the easy way as stress deferral...That's even the easiest of the steps when compared with the challenges associated with passing the licensing exams.
