That is not ewedu. Jute leaves stem are usually green and not brown as depicted in the picture.

I may be wrong though.

Not sure it can be prepared with spinach. Jute leaves would become super slippery when boiled 'properly' in water. While Spinach can be prepared like every other vegetable, Jute is prepared quite differently and mostly serves as an additive to soups.
