Hello nlders,

I'm schooling in one of the southern state.I stay with my aunt ,during the hols I go bk home. So this particular holiday, I decided to stay bk in school cos the hol is just 2 wks .

Now the problem is ,the aunt i stay with travelled. I'm supposed to squat with my friends but they've gone bk. I'm left with my mum's younger brother to stay with...
The issue is ;he's a young guy,25 yrs. He is a bachelor and he stays alone in a one room apartment...

I went to his place ,i stayed over night and I was freaking scared that night. I wore long skirt and pullover to sleep. Heat wan finish me. ..

All the cases of rape I've read on nl kept coming to my head. Fine,my uncle told me to stay on the bed that he would use the sofa .After 10 min he said he was gonna lie on the bed that he's not comfy. He slept at the end of the bed while I slept at the other end. The guy sleeps with only boxers on..I couldn't even sleep

Next morning, I called my mum and told her I can't stay with her broda that im coming bk. She got annoyed and was like I'm accusing her brother. The woman just dey para for my head ..

I later called her bk and told her its nothing nd that I'm not just comfy. She assured me to stay ,that she trust her brother.

if you had said you fears are based on some other shiiii other than what you (we all) read on nl i would have said maybe you've got a good reason to be skeptical about staying with him

but bae you just said you're scared cos of what you read on nl ..............dont you know 80% of the stories here are bogus .....

Oh well, two weeks from now we shall find out whether you are being paranoid or not. But as for me I think you shouldn't stay there because:

1. you already don't trust him which is your instincts telling you something.

2. it seems you are not quite close to him so you don't see him as family (which might be how he sees you also) and as such sexual desires can set in

3. He wore only boxers to sleep on the same bed with you. Yes he slept on one end and you on the other end but what happens next night and the night after that when you two starts rolling and "body starts touching body" (remember na only boxers him dey wear sleep)

It might be that you are just crying wolf and there isn't anything to worry about but my advice is: do not stay to find out.

Why can't your aunt leave you alone in the house when she was travelling?
Why is your uncle sleeping almost nude with you around.?
Why wearing long skirt (that covers) without tight jeans trousers (that protects) underneath?
Why should your mum take sides with her brother instead of you?
Why didn't you go to the sofa when he came to the bed?

You are not paranoid. My cousin who bathed us when we were babies, asked me for sex. It is risky, he is not your biological brother. Even if he is..........the devil is wise. Leave his house please. The mind is powerful. You are being careful but to the point of apprehension and insecurity. The guy may not have evil in mind. Maybe you have had an ugly experience before

Well as for me, in my house, I Bought an extra bed so if any of my siblings who is female comes to visit, I will sleep on my other bed. I even have spare clothes for the opposite sex ...

see OP, don't mind those people saying "its nothing". just imagine if you had posted that you got raped by your uncle after a two weeks visit, with him sleeping half-naked on the same bed with you.....this same people will insult the living daylight out of you and ask you who sent you there in the first place.

the thing is, that something has not happened does not mean it CAN'T happen....konji is no respecter of persons. and two weeks is just enough time for anything to happen.
as a matter of fact, keeping two people of opposite sex on the same bed is like keeping a goat and a yam in the same room. one day one day the goat will eat the yam....no matter how disciplined the goat is.

if you must stay the span of 2 weeks, better make the sofa your bed for the night. just to avoid stories that touch. cos once it happens, it has happened. nothing you say or do will ever change it.
