"Rrrnnngg" the alarm clock woke up in the calm of the morning. "5 o clock already " I said with a hint of tiredness in my voice. I looked down to find myself bare. Last night was not a dream and the boss really sucked me off. I jumped outta bed and for the first in three years I was excited to get to work. I had a shower and took a light meal of toast bread on the go.
I parked my car at my usual spot and turned to see whether the boss was already here. Her black jeep was there alright.... I could never forget how much more intimidating she looked driving that beast of a car. I looked at my salon with disappointment. "I just need a damn promotion!!." I went into the skyscraper that sucked my soul each day I worked there- Rubetech, one of the world's leading tech enterprises. I worked at finance which was at the 28th floor. I took the elevator up only to meet my good friend from logistics -Tunde. "Bro, I was calling you yesterday night didn't you see my missed calls? " he asked without a proper greeting. " I was, cleaning" I said without looking him in the eye. "Jeez...we'll meet up later doing your break " he said as I reached my floor. I waved him goodbye as I got down. I went to my little cubicle and let out a sigh. "Same old thing everyday" . I was about to begin work when I got message that the boss was calling me. I went to her office without hesitation. She was doing something on her system before she beckoned me to sit. "What happened yesterday doesn't change anything " she suddenly blurted out while mashing her keyboard. "I'm still your boss" she said in her usual demeaning manner. I was confused. A rush of emotions suddenly flowed through me. It was a mix of sadness and anger, I felt like she was done with me and it hurt more than I thought it would. " You may leave" she said without once looking up. As I stood to leave she stopped me " One more thing" she said in her bedroom voice "Fucck me"
