Good morning house, I submitted my application last week and ITA was given yesterday. But am in a dilemma. 1. My younger brother whom I am the sole guardian (parents are late) has applied for admission in some Canadian universities and we should be submitting his application soon for January resumption. 2. Can I still go ahead to process my ITA without any issues provided that my POF will be intact after paying his school fees. Of which 50% of the fees will be paid even before we apply for his visa. 3. I hope it won't be seen as double counting of funds and do I include a detailed explanation of this in my application as well as the student visa application. Along with my projected income in the coming year. I just got a new job. So the monthly salary is small but u get lump sums after every 6 month. I.e 6 months, 1 year e.t.c. 4. We Av a projected salary calculator. So can I get HR to sign on it and include in the study application 5. Also, I run an informal biz. No registered company profile. I use my salary account and other account for the business. I supply all sorts. I have some invoices giving me the contract but mostly it's informal. Where I make an average of say #200K monthly but no real structure Please just advice. So I will really like him to resume by Jan and I don't want to hurt my own chances either |

careliz:The eyes have to be open o. Babies these days open their eyes from day1. My first son was held upside down briefly so he was startled awake and that's how his picture was taken. My baby now was tickled awake. His picture still looks like he was furious. |

ebho:Na wa o!! Please share your story/how you packaged your application and how you resolved the POF issue. This "quickness" is commendable! |

XX01:Really @ the bolded? My last child's eyes were closed coz she refused to wake up whatever we did and they took it like that at the Nigerian Embassy in Atlanta. We flew with it back to naija and immigration didn't have a problem with it. They say for babies this is understandable. Because I was worried if they will let us return to naija with closed eyes on the data page. |

Is your younger brother included in your PR application? If yes, you might need to get some sort of adoption papers (not sure if that can be done for siblings, if it can be done... you will have no issues). I am suggesting this because siblings cannot be included in your PR application. Also, he might be above 18 years from what I gather... you need to confirm if adding him is a possibility. If for any reason you can successfully include him in your application, I do not think you need to apply for a student visa. PR will be good enough and even better... dtush: |

[quote autho Please how true is this? I didn't notice it On their website. That the charge extra for more than one certificate IQAS? Don't forget, IQAS charges extra cash if ur degrees are more than one but WES has a flat amount no matter the number of degrees.[/quote] |

I doubt that can be done... But if that's the case, you can go ahead and apply for his student visa. With regards to your POF, after payment of his fees, would you still have the required amount required for your family size? Not sure a projected income would work. dtush: |

freeradical:Please i need clarifications here. I was born in UK, my parents returned to Nigeria after my 1st birthday. I have travelled to UK twice (within the last 4 years) on vacation spending 2 weeks at each visit. Do i need a PCC? I was thinking the PCC is needed for cummulative periods after 18years of age. cc: mummyjaygirls, boldinc, 40manlappy, feygbe |

Thanks for taking your time to give us such detailed advice. I am taking it to heart. I'm filling my form already and I didn't assess my first degree. Should I include it in the place provided for personal history or for study history, being that I don't have an ECA for it? Thanks again! freeradical: |

dollynson:Read from page 0 to 50 then you will have a rudimentary knowledge of what needs to be done. This knowledge will help you to apply whatever advice you get from here to your situation. I was once like you. I even thought Ontario was the capital of Canada and didn't understand what provinces meant. Just studying this thread and then CIC's web page, I was able to learn a lot. Where I need clarification, I ask on this thread. |
