I understand where you are coming from but there is actually a universal definition of virginity. Based on the previous definitions i quoted, a virgin is a person (a woman in this case), who has not engaged in the physical union of male and female genitals (penis and vagina).

Therefor, a woman who has not had penetrative vaginal sex is a virgin. With or without her hymen. As much as some may not like it, a woman who has had anal sex but not vaginal sex is a virgin.
