It is a statement of fact that Fayose is attacking this administration simply because he knows he will be arrested immediately this term ends. Buhari will still have a full year from then.
Wait first... Arrest him for what exactly when the likes of tinubu, amaechi and fashola are still gallanting and attending owambe upandan?

The facility has so much deteriorated. We visited this place years ago during my Nysc days, when Fayemi was still the governor.

It was lively, bubbling and full of activities. It has become a shadow of itself.

Stomach infrastructure can never equate social infrastructure.

I was in Ikogosi last week and felt sorry for the state of maladministration in this country. Politics of bitterness has eroded common sense. I learnt the resort was brought back to life during the tenure of JKF only to be abandoned by Fayose for reason best known to him. That resort centre is a shadow of itself as I speak. The chalets, restaurant, halls are unbelievably in a sorry state.

What were Ekiti people expecting before? Critical infrastructure? Lol

He who eats the RICE must surely pay the PRICE

The election of Fayose is one of the greatest insults to we the Yorubas,

2018 is here and that is the time to redeem yourselves, Ekiti people.
Dude what do you expect him to do.....with the huge amount of money that was spent by the previous administration ehn....I challenge you to find out how it was being managed to attract tourists....as a matter of fact the number of tourists visiting was not surprisingly high when it was restructred because some stuff were still not done right....you don't expect a man struggling with paying salaries and working on structures like the overhead bridge and the modern market with other infrastructures to look into all the aspect with the little allocation being commissioned to the state....I think you have to modify your post and tell us how money was squandered there whereas it doesn't make enough money for its own maintainance....pls kindly look into these issues and think of a better caption for your post.

I think people need to verify things before commenting. The picture posted about Ikongosi is false as the place renovated by Dr. Fayemi during his tenure and the Fayose government is sustaining and maintaining the standards. Not sure what the intention of the gentleman that posted these pictures are but clearly this is not true of the current state of the place. If anyone is in doubt just go to their website and see current pictures of the place before making further comments.

Please show to us what you have seen governor Fayose has done since assume office concerning Ikangusi water spring. Former governor Fayemi did a great job here in which people from other country would come and fun, but immediate tout came into power he takes Ekiti backwardly to its former stage. Wise man sees positive things in everything but unwise one sees otherwise.

Nigerians and inferiority complex, is it that Ekiti state don't have ministry for tourism?? what is their work. why blame the governor? the governor has other issues to manage

All Ekiti people want is rice and NGN200

Give them that and all other things can crumble!

If you want to finally impress them, add a sachet of vegetable oil and Tin tomato to it.

Ikogosi can collapse if need be

Ayodele Fayose became the Governor of Ekiti state in 2014 while Abubakar Atiku Baguda became Governor of Kebbi state in 2015, while Baguda took N4bn to Bank of Industry (BOI), secured counter funding and got 78,000 people cultivating rice (employment), my own governor Fayose took N4.7 to build the first flyover in Ekiti state.
While the farmers in Kebbi have sold their rice to Lagos state (LAKE RICE) and have moved on to increasing their farm size, my Governor is still battling with how to complete the humongous project that won’t provide a single sustainable job.
While the Kebbi state Governor saw the potentials in processing by partnering with WACOT to provide a N10 billion rice mill that have a production capacity of 100,000 tonnes annually; silos for storing 18,000 tonnes of paddy and a warehouse for storing additional 12,000 tonnes of paddy. When operational, it is expected to generate direct and indirect employment for 3,500 people and its procurement will reach out to 50,000 farmers, my own Governor Fayose has approved the construction of another governor’s office, another high court, reconstruction of the road to his village (even though its next to mine) for several billions of naira.
Kebbi state is not owing any salary and the state government didn’t blame it on PMB whereas Ekiti is owing pensioners as much as 11months while civil servants have 6months unpaid salaries, the difference between these Governors is called good governance with the people at the centre of it.
Baguda inherited N83bn debt from the previous government, he didn’t blame it on the past government
If you think Fayose is your best Governor because he gives people 1kg of rice plus N500, you need to have your head examined especially if you are from Ekiti state, for those of you that are not from Ekiti state and assume Fayose is the best governor because he insults PMB, you are part of the larger problem.
please go to your state and compare your Governor with Kebbi state Governor, after that, come back and make your comment

When there was EASY MONEY FROM OIL AND GAS, Nigeria never cared to make good use of the fund.

State governors across most of the 36 states were frivolous in their spending. They went on a spending spree and of course looting the money.

Now they are going the HARDER WAY looking for money in the ROCK!

The oil money if it was well invested would have turn most of our states to LITTLE DUBAI!
