Dear Corper, when did you visit the place last.Just go there now.Its worse than what was posted..
The problem with our governor is that he hates anything initiated by the opposition. This was exactly what he did in his First tenure 2003-2006.He literally looted the place dried.

This time he abandoned the place and neglected a major tourist attraction to Ekiti all because His arch opposition did a very good work there!
l do my morning jogging there and most evenings l stroll there to see colleagues posted there, things are NOT as bad as seen in these photos..

This thread is politically motivated. If you wanna show what Fayose hasn't yet fix also show the ones he's done, fix & still fixing wink
if only Fayose will adopt this your rule in criticizing buharia, maybe he will find favour in the sight of those who criticize him too.

Ikogosi warm spring: Nature’s gift to mankind

It was the will power of the administration that has made Cross River a reference point in tourism development in Nigeria and a preferred destination. Same will power is playing out in Ekiti state where Kayode Fayemi is turning things around in another tourist attraction in Ikogosi

Today, as part of Governor Kayode Fayemi’s transformation package accessibility is now a thing of the past as the roads leading to the resort have been fixed. The road re-rehabilitation formed part of the larger plan to transform the resort to a destination that can attract tourists. A drive into the resort for the zonal meeting of the Nigeria Union of Journalists during the week was an eye opener to the transformation that has taken place in the resort.

Fayemi did lot fixing it up and bringing it up to, not this usless clown ran it down.

Whether politically motivated or otherwise, there's something you don't get. That place used to be a tourist attractions to thousands of people. I know this because I've been there and I can say the place was a major source of revenue to the state but now, see the rot it's become. Aside from being a source of revenue, it served as a source of employment opportunities to their people and and the fact that a sitting governor will allow state infrastructures become this gory sight is something I can't comprehend despite the huge state resources spent. For those hailing Fayose, how I wish he could be your state governor for a year and see what will become of your state

If that place was truly viable as you wish to put it, then it wouldn't have been this way. Besides in a recession, few people will spend money on such things. Except those who was to throw around their ill gotten wealth.

That's where you're wrong, lack of continuity brings an end to a movement. I mean,Ogudu cattle ranch is alive today cos of the genuine governmental efforts while the Calabar Tinapa is dead cos of political scores despite all the billions spent by Donald Duke. For how long are we gonna continue in wastage cos of different political ideologies? Why do you think Lagos state is a model for other states, definetly because of the continuous political dynasty that exist in the state,a present government leveraging on the success on the previous ones. My brother,I tell you,Nigerians still spend millions yearly despite the recession on tourism,by that I mean outside of the country let alone the one in our backyard. Truth of the matter is,Fayose is a failure passonified. I am a Yoruba son and I will never support a fellow Yoruba just for the sake of it,I'll forever call a spade a spade

Ikogosi was there before Fayose was born; in fact, before his parents met. His only achievement was making sure that the roof of the chalets have been falling off. Photo no dey lie nao.

You seem to be really ignorant about Obudu and Tinapa. Please go and do proper research or simply ask questions.

I'm not contesting your sentiments about fayose after all, you don't hold such opinion about other governors, even if you do, you wouldn't express it. We saw how a judge was rubbished for speaking out in osun state. How many of you spoke out. In fact, It seemed non yorubas were the people insisting that the state be closely looked at.

I understand the hypocrisy, so no worries. Of course, Lagos, a 95% private sector driven state, WHICH IS NOT EVEN THE MAKING OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT, is always used as reference... if it truly was that of the state government initiatives, fashola would have displayed such genius in the FG, but we know better.

Fayose is not my governor, I don't hold the sentiment of him being a failure, anyone leaning to the ruling party will easily see fayose as a failure. It's normal human psychology.

He is the only opposition government in his region, and a vocal critic of the FG, Understandably he wouldn't have friends like you, who wish his voice is drowned.

If ikogisi was viable, it will run itself irrespective of who is governor. In Lagos, how many tourists places is owned and run by government. Lagos government only chase them about for tax
