A Chieftain of Yoruba socio-political organization, Afenifere, Ayo Adebanjo has claimed that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government is out to “dominate” and not to rule Nigeria.

Adebanjo made the claim while faulting the refusal of the Buhari’s All Progressives Congress, APC-led government to succumb to the yearnings of some Nigerians and restructure the country.

Speaking with the Sun, Adebanjo maintained that the refusal to restructure the country is responsible for the emergence of groups agitating for Nigeria’s break-up.

“This boy leading Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, I have always said that, he is not as bad as you think. The young man is saying that the Federal Government is not keen on being fair. He gave the instance of Aburi which they went back on, and he gave the instance of other things they went back.

“Right now, they are not sure of restructuring in a way that will be fair. So, let me get out from the marriage. If you are in a club and you feel cheated, would you still remain in that club?

“That is the case. The Federal Government is mischievous and not sincere about keeping the country together. Look at the Federal Government saying it doesn’t want restructuring. Pastor Tunde Bakare, recently explained that he gave a memorandum to Buhari on how to do restructuring, but the government is saying that it doesn’t want restructuring.

“The party only want to be mischievous. Buhari under APC doesn’t want to rule, he wants to dominate. Those who are being oppressed resist, and if you think you can rule us under this condition, you are playing with fire.”

GIts not about Nnamdi KANU now, Ojukwu (of blessed memory) saw this coming and virtually all what he predicted about a future Nigeria about the North on Nigeria had all been fulfilled. I really pity the unstable Yoruba's right now.

The truth is that, the only region that is ready & earnestly want out of Nigeria but silent about it is the SW. Afenife as a group has been clamouring for restructuring since Obasanjo's regime. It is only the Yorubas out of all the ethnic groups that invest mostly in their region compare to others. Long live the republic of Oduduwa.
