I am fully in support of the means people here have carried in order to pressurise the PTDF people to either publish the list or give us a feedback on why they haven't done so and when they will be doing so.

On my part, I have tried all means available to reach a family friend who ranks high in the hierarchy of the PTDF in order to ask him about when to expect the list, but it has been to no avail. He was the one who informed me about the test date which I communicated to the house in June. The silence from the PTDF is actually worrying.

We all have our various plans to undertake, but all these plans revolve around the outcome of the scholarship. For my part, I have a graduate fellowship in the U.A.E which I'm wary of accepting, all because my eyes are set on PTDF. Given that the school resumes in late August, I have upto the end of next week to make a decision, or else I lose the fellowship. I prefer PTDF because the benefits are better. And I believe a lot of us here are in the same dilemma.

The key thing to do now is for us to legitimately demand for the publication of the list. I'll continue trying to reach that person at PTDF. If I am able to reach him & get any vital information, I'll duly share it here. If I'm not, then I hope our mails wakes PTDF from their slumber to give us a response, hopefully a positive one.

For now, all I can say is best of wishes to us fellow compatriots.

I wonder if those guys have ever been in this shoe. Cranfield is telling me to register for airport service. Lol. When ptdf has refused to even let me know where I stand

These are standard procedures, I did my MSC at Cranfield, only got to the uk a week after schl started, they usually have a grace of one month I think. I am to do my PHD at Cranfield as well, they are only calling to know you are coming, they know that a lot of those that got the admission won't come, that's the reason the give admission to more people than they want to admit

Basically,i think all the successful candidates have been contacted. PTDF would need to confirm from propective awardees about their admission status, the institution etc. Hence,i know that those contacted by PTDF are not bothered about the list, they are simply making plans for their travel requirements like ATAS etc
Have you been called? I think you are just here to bring confusion

Like someone said here earlier on, why can't they just set a timeline for this scholarship like other foreign scholarships bodies do? Why is Nigeria (with all its wealth - both Human Resources and financial) like this? Why must its youth scream and cry out everytime before things can be done normally? Why can't Nigeria just get somethings right for once after these many years?

So many questions that would just get me exceedingly pissed off more than I already have.

Please lets tweet and retweet away, hopefully it yields positive results.

Hey guys, I have been stealthily following this thread for quite a while now and I must say, the recent posts got my attention. I strongly agree with the idea of tweeting and sending emails to PTDF. If not for anything but at least they should know that some scholarship-hopefuls have their minds on the list. I thought I was a patient person but I too am tired of this silence from PTDF- Damn! It is louder that the scream of that "land lady in Kung-fu Hustle"
Anyways, congratulations to those that have other means of funding their graduate studies.

PS: the "undue" delay of this list just shows how poorly organized this country is. We youths have a lot of restructuring to do so we could carve better lives for our future kids!!
God Bless Nigeria.

I see so many of you misbehaving on this thread, this thread is meant for scholars, some of you need to check the meaning of the word "Scholar" in the dictionary so you can act like one. So many useless noise everywhere. Please make more noise and act irresponsible then at the end, none of you will be picked by PTDF. Same way some guys were acting oversabi on shell thread and at the end none qualified for the next round. So many people need to do some growing up. Spits.....

It is unpatriotic to abuse one another, office procedures follows protocols, the delay is not denial but a design plan from God, it's unfair to use hard words on one another. We all have to know God knows your destination, pastor adeboye once said in his time he went for commonwealth scholarship he was denied, but today he is greater in the sight of God and men than does who got it. I am not being religious, but remember a spoken word never returns. Abuses has no headway
